The curtains moved and the crowd went wild; screaming my name. The music starts playing, the crowd waved their hands, and the spotlight hits me as I stood in front of everyone. I sang the first word of the lyrics and the waves of people went screaming their hearts out for me.
Screaming, the crowd was unstoppable. I couldn't hear my own voice as I kept singing. The only thing I can hear is their voices empathizing with each lyric I pronounce. I kept my eyes closed and focused singing. And when the chorus starts, everything went out. Silenced in the only thing you can hear; no voices, no screams, no music, there's no one.
"You're done, no one came." I bowed and left the stage.
How can one wrong piece destroy everything? How can people dislike one and shut the doors for others?
The moment I heard the screams I was at the peak. I was heard when I was happy and when I fell down, no could hear me. Six feet isn't that deep, I may have fell in a deep pit. A pit where no one can hear you but despair, as it is the only thing that can come after you.
Do it right ones and they'll be coming for your perfection, for always.
