'Just wake her up already, she said she wanted to join so wake her up'

One of the freshman said, not seeing what the problem was.

'No, you don't understand. If you wake her up she'll be a heinous beast for the rest of the day'

Some scoffed, looking at the upperclassmen. They nodded and some sighed.

'really?'

'yup so it's best if Mad Dog wakes her up!'

'huh?'

He turned around and furrowed his brows. Oikawa smiled and pushed Kyotani towards you.

'She won't get mad at you like she will with us'

Iwaizumi then yelled from the bottom of the stair case.

'Hurry up, we'll be late!'

The rest of the team went, and Oikawa then stuck Kyotani with waking you up. He sighed and went over to you.

'Y/n'

He shook you gently to see if you reacted.

'Y/n, the team left'

He shook with a bit more force. You groaned and covered your eyes from the sun.

'Y/n practice starts soon'

'leave me alone'

You turned the other way. He shook you again, and then again. You sat up and looked at him.

'what time is it?'

'Time for practice to start'

'Already?'

'mhm'

'Go on without me I'll be down in a minute'

He nodded in response and left the room. He saw that the same team was still lingering outside the hotel. He decided to wait and was just on his phone.

'Oh hey it's the bodyguard guy!'

One of the underclassmen pointed out. The same guy as before started talking, loudly.

'Y'know that manager they god is kinda cute, maybe I'll ask her out'

Some of them agreed and others didn't respond. Kyotani was noticeably irritated, the guy kept on pushing his luck.

'Who knows maybe I'll even give'r a big old kiss, maybe I'll steal her first one, or something else'

He laughed and wrapped an arm around a teammate. He looked at him and winked. Kyotani was dead serious, only thing that moved as a sudden twitch on his face. You finally came down before he went towards the guys. 

'You're still here? I told you to go, you're not gonna be able to play today'

He took one final glance at the guy before turning around and grabbing your waist and dragging you with him. Once turning the corner he looked at the guy and kept walking with you.

'Kyo, you okay?'

He realized he had his arm around you and immediately took it off of you. He rubbed his face and nodded.

'You sure you look worried?'

'headache'

He said and sat down on the bench. You sat down next to him and he saw the group walk in. He stared at the same guy, until he was across the gym. He grabbed his jacket and put it over his head, he had a dumb idea and decided to go along all because he felt jealous and was being protective. His idea was to lay his head down on your lap and not move. He did just that, you looked around and your cousin laughed, holding his stomach. You were still tired so you didn't want to move. You, rightfully, flipped of Toru.

'Does your head hurt that much?'

He nodded, no it didn't hurt he just didn't want to get up. He kept the jacket on his head so you wouldn't see how red his face was. He was embarrassed at his stupid action but he didn't know if you minded or not. From how he heard you react, he thought you didn't care. ON the inside you were fuming, you didn't know how to react or what to say. You decided to be quiet and just jeep your head down.

Practice was coming to an end. Everyone started cleaning up. Some people took done the net while others grabbed mops. You couldn't move even if you wanted to. Kyotani was still on you. Yet, your not on the bench anymore, you're on the floor. It was only have way through the practice that the coach kicked Kyotani off the bench and he dragged you along with him. Exact same position but different spot.

So now you were just on the floor with him still on you. He had his face covered and you couldn't hear if he was snoring or not. You looked out at the people in the room. They all were doing their own thing. You see someone walking your way. When all of a sudden you hear this agitating, grating voice.

'Well hello again'

You acknowledged him but didn't say anything.

'I just wanted to apologize personally for my actions'

'mhm'

'And I wanted to see if I could get your number'

He said with a smile. You immediately turned him down. He asked you again.

'Oh come one please'

'She said no, fuck off'

Kyotani had finally gotten up.

'Oh you're here? I didn't even notice you'

Kyotani stood up.

'She said no, go.'

'And what if I don't?'

He gotten a step closer, trying to make himself look tough. Kyotani face dropped a bit and you called his name.

'Kentaro.'

He turned around and his eyes softened.

'Don't'

He glanced back at the guy and rolled his eyes, going back to you side.

'Damn, she have that boy whipped'

Oikawa said as he wrapped an arm around the guy.

'Right?'

'What the fu-

'Now! As I recall you said you would stay away from her'

'Now leave ass-hat'

Iwaizumi blocked you off from him and looked disgusted by the guy.

'Whatever, she's not even that pretty'

'Go fuck yourself'

Kyotani said to him as he walked away.

'You go fuck yourself, or how about you go fuck that little girlfriend of your'

He said and tried to start a fight but his teammates got there before anything escalated. HIs teammates grabbed him and told him to chill out.

'Dude what the hell are you doing?!'

'Why are you always trying to fight someone?'

'Shut up and go back to the dorm or you're not playing anymore, matter of fact well put you on water boy and ball boy duty.'

Kyotani wanted to punch the guy in the face but you were there. You were the only reason stopping him from doing so. Oikawa was impressed that they didn't have to hold him back or anything. You just grabbing his wrist was enough to keep him from going over to the dude.
