Unfortunately the rest of the day just drug on and on for me. There were times that I thought I was going to die from a cringy scene in a movie or when mom would try and give me a side hug. But it did eventually end, thankfully with dad taking a look at the clock above the tv. "Hey kiddo ready to pick your brother up?" he asked as he stood and looked down at me. I have never jumped up so fast in my life."YES" I started to yell but quickly stopped not wanting to hurt moms feeling too much with my outburst "Sorry I am mean yes" I said quietly before peeking down at mom. I started to chew on my bottom lip before signing. "Thanks..thanks for hanging with me" I forced myself to say.

It was nice to just hang out with them, their auras and energies can be hectic sometimes but they are still me parents even with the crappy movies and forced hangouts. I thought I saw dad smile out of the corner of my eye before I took off towards the front door before mom wanted to try and get all huggy again. Once at the door I turned and yelled into the house "I'LL BE IN THE CAR WAITING. WE'LL SEE YA WHEN WE BRING SAM AND HIS CAR BACK" Not waiting for a reply i opened the door and bolted for the car so I could hop in the passenger seat.

Once I reached the car I hopped over the side without stopping and plopped into the back seat. As I settled into the middle of the seat, I started to fidget with my goggles on my head and was trying very hard not to pull them over my eyes. I loved the green color that surrounded the world when I wore them as well as all the information I could accuse, 'all at the tips on my figure...or is it at the glance of an eye?' I thought as I also felt a smirk pulling at my lips. I was pulled from my mind as Dad pulled the driver side door open and planted himself in the seat. I turned my eyes towards the rearview mirror and saw him giving me a little glare. I swallow before giving a nervous smile.

"I saw you jump into my car. There is a door for you to use." Dad said before shaking his head with a tiny almost invisible smile on his face. I threw my hand up to cover my mouth as I started to laugh. As the sound made it up to his ear he started to laugh too. After a few moments we both caught our breaths and he started the car and started to pull out onto the road. I found my hands tapping along to the beat of the music coming from the stereo. That's one of the few things I have in common with dad is we both like classic rock and oldies.

It took about 25 minutes to get to Sam's school, luckily we were super early so we beat all the other parents here that pick their kids up as well. Once we were in front of the bus lane and out of the way so they had room to pull in, Dad parked it and turned the radio down a little bit. There was a few minutes of silence before he coughed into his hand and turned his head up to look at me in the mirror. I quickly looked down from the sky and caught his gase. He looked a little pale and worried, but he was trying to hide it behind a look of frustration and proudness. As our eyes met I signed and nodded my head, 'he's worried that Sam wont pass' I thought. He never shows Sam how he really feels, he thinks he needs to hide his emotions, he tries to be the best father figure he thinks he needs to be.

I have always been able to see past that into how he really feels, into how anyone truly feels. My parents think it is because I have always been very observant even as a child. But there is more to it, it's a very mute feeling but I can almost feel people... or there auros if you want to call it that. The more I am around someone the more I can read them, my parents and Sam being the easiest to read. I jerked my head a little to shake myself out of my thoughts and tuned back to Dad in the front seat. He was still looking at me but this time with worry towards me, I quickly planted a smile on my face and leaned forwards so my arms were touching the back of his seat. "Sam will pass, he always does, he has a way with his words that just draws people to him... but I can think of something that would make your day once we head to get him a car." I said with an evil smirk growing on my face. I watched as he narrowed his eyes at me but started to smirk too. "What do you have in mind?" he asked knowing it was going to be a prank.
