Sunset and twilight had no idea where they were. They felt they were drifting through something. All they really knew was that they were here holding each other's hands so they weren't drifting apart. Then suddenly they could see. There were portal entrances everywhere it was like looking at a million paintings of each world. They saw an orange dog and a boy in blue walk by. And a tall blue girl chasing after a reddish boy yelling "Stephen!". They saw a boy with a hat and a red haired girl run by laughing their heads off. Some were strange some were in unknown languages some were boring. Then they saw someone approach them. Well it was Luna.
"Hush now, do not be afraid. It seems you both have lost your way through the portal. I cannot get you out but I can guide you somewhere safe where you won't fall into someone else's world." Luna said and suddenly they weren't just drifting they were attached to Luna and she was leading them to safety.
They landed in a circular area they were in a circle of mirrors each one leading to another place. Thousands of worlds circled them millions of lives were just there.
"Where are we?" Twilight whispered she looked up at the pony who led them here.
" we are in the in between it is and isn't a place. don't move from where you are or you may get trapped in another world some I will not ever be able to save you from so stay within reach and stay together for trapped in separation is possible." Luna said disappearing leaving the two in an uneasy quiet.
