Wait magic? (Twilight sparkle x sunset shimmer

back to the candy kingdom

after a long day of twilight being hella miffed with both marci and sunset night had finally fallen and they were on their way back to the disgustingly pink candy kingdom marcelines words not mine. the moon was high in the sky and it was very bright in spite of being the middle of the night. 

"I just don't understand why you haven't told me more about this princess bubblegum? what could she possibly have done to warrant silence from you two!" twilight cried out trying to get them to give her any details. 

"she started the zombie apocalypse.. twice. she created everyone in her kingdom and forced them to worship her. uses her brother as a natural resource and takes every opportunity she can to pillage other nations. if that gives you any idea" marceline finally listed off hoping it would shut twilight up. the nonstop chatter was getting to her. it worked and the rest of the walk went by in solemn silence. twilight was thinking and thinking trying to get a mental image of this monarch that was apparently so crazy and cold. after a while of walking the sugary kingdom loomed ahead. it looked purple under the blanket of night and not even the banana guards stirred as they slept at their posts. it was so quiet that twilight felt it would be wrong to speak until in the castle. after a while of walking through the hushed city they were inside the castle. twilight followed behind marceline who was behind sunset she had been finding random excuses to be in-between them. it was obvious she wanted them apart but twilight was to busy worrying to notice. 

sunset was practically swimming in guilt over not telling twilight what had happened. everyone was tense if they had been candy people the stress would have killed them. after climbing an unreasonably long spiral of stairs that left twilight thinking that the castles design wanted to torture all who wished to see the princess. the large door was in front of them they were close to getting home. it was a dream come true and sort of a nightmare too. 

sunset gently creaked it open and entered the brightly lit pink room. marceline and twilight hesitated. 

PB saw sunset shimmer and her eyes lit up. "you're back! so you've reconsidered. I knew you'd return but not so soon I'm so..." her voice trailed off when she caught sight of twilight and marcy entering the room. "oh." PB paused regaining her composure. her ex and her crushes girlfriend had just showed up with sunset. out of nowhere. (greeeaaatttt) she thought to herself. 

twilight politely stepped forward. "hello you must be princess bubblegum. my name is twilight sparkle and I am under the impression that you can help me. help us that is.." twilight chuckled nervously at PB's blank look and held sunsets hand for comfort. 

"well.. I-I- yes. I guess that depends on what it is you need." PB took a calming breath. "how can I help you two?" 

the next few minutes were spent explaining how they had gotten there and why they desperately wanted to return home. marcy dosed off multiple times but PB was listening intently as twilight went into the specifics and studies and even had a few discussions about how in her world there is no magic (native magic at least) and they even talked about physics and made a similarities and differences chart. eventually sunset spoke up. 

"so can you help us or not?" sunset was eager to leave this strange world behind. she missed spike and her cozy apartment she shared with twilight. she didn't even know how time in this world related to hers. it was scary and she was even more frightened by the person who could help. 

"yes I certainly can. it will take a couple days though even with help. it might take even longer if we factor in the number of realities." she fell into silence both twilight and PB were deep in thought crunching the numbers. it was really unlikely they would get home quickly or at all.

"oh my glob I don't know why I didn't mention this before. there is another way it will take a few days and probably shatter a lot of PB's uptight beliefs on magic, but I know a guy. first we need to build a space ship." she said giving a mischievous look to princess bubblegum it was time for an adventure. you could even say it was adventure time! (ill go home) 

hey everyone its the author!

I want to get a little real with you guys for a moment. this is the second to last chapter. it is so strange to finally be closing this book. I have been writing this for three long years and it has been a journey.  I left middle school behind me and entered high school Ive traveled and grown as a writer and as a person. to those of you still reading I am so glad to have taken this journey with you. in less than a month this book will become complete. I apologize for how long this took but am grateful to those who are still here,
