Chapter#8 The Last Day Of Kindergarten.

(The Month was May 1st.)

(At the St. James residence.)

Clare St. James: (Sniffles as she places the backpack on her son's shoulders for the last time.) "Oh Roddy I can't believe that today is your very last day of Kindergarten. (Takes a picture.)

Zack St. James: (Brings out some suitcases.) "Yep 1st grade here we come. (Looks at Roddy.) "Roddy now remember you'll be staying at the Malone Family house for two days. "While your mother has your baby sister down at the hospital.

Clare St. James: (Looks at Roddy.) "Now after school Mr. Malone will pick you and Rita up from school. "Now remember to behave yourself Roddy along with your cousin Edward when being guests/staying at the Malone family house for the two days. "Follow there household rules, Do what ever both Mr. And Mrs. Malone tell both of you boys do, And treat there children nicely.

Roddy: (Nods his head at both of his parents.) "I always behave myself when ever visiting the Malone family household mom. (Then he looks at his mom.) "Wait so Edward is going to be joining me when staying at the Malone family house hold for the two days.

Zack St. James: "Yes your aunt and uncle want to see the new baby. "Plus they wanna help out with the new baby at the hospital. "So the Malone's offered to take care of you two boys for the two days while your aunt, uncle, me and your mother are at the hospital.

(Suddenly the sounds of the Jammy Dodger can be heard moving through the water from outside.)

Clare St. James: "Oh that must be Mr. Malone now. (Gives Roddy his suitcase.) "Bye Roddy me and your father will see you after the two days are over.

Roddy: (Waves goodbye to both of his parents and heads right outside.) 

(Outside.)

Roddy: ( walks onto the Jammy Dodger.)

Mr. Malone: (Smiles at Roddy.) "Hello there Roddy. (Notices his suitcase.) "You can place your luggage on the Jammy Dodger. "And when I park this baby at my home. "I'll place your luggage in Rita's bedroom.

Rita Malone: (She smiles at Roddy.) "I convinced daddy and mommy to let you sleep in my room for the two days. (Hugs him.) "Oh this is going to be so much fun. "For two whole days you'll get to really experience what living in the Malone family household is really like.

Roddy: (Looks at Rita.) "Oh and Edward will be there.

Rita Malone: "Edward will be bunking in one of our guests rooms.

(They arrive at the elementary school.)

Mr. Malone: (Smiles as he drops the kids off.) "I'll see you two after school. (Drives away.)

(Suddenly some barking noises can be heard over by the corner of the school.)

 Rita Malone: (Turns around as she heard the noise.) "What was that? (Walks over towards the corner of the school.) (And she sees a tiny puppy.) "Aw Roddy you have to come see this. (She gently pats both of her legs.) "Hey girl or boy come here.

The puppy: (Barks as it came over to Rita.)

 Roddy: (Walks over and smiles.) "Aw a puppy. (Pets the puppy.) "Do you think it belongs to anybody?

 Rita Malone: (Doesn't see a collar on it.) "I don't see a collar on it. (Gasps.) "It must be a stray. (Gets a idea.) "Say Roddy how about if me and you take care of the puppy in secret. "Like sense this weekend you'll be staying at our home for two days. "We can both take care of the puppy together. "And then next weekend I'll secretly bring the puppy over to your home. "Our parents will never know.
