VIII - Mirror of Erised

A door opens, and closes. On the other side, there is a vast, empty room that has a large mirror in the center, known as the Mirror of Erised. Harry appears and walks over to the mirror. In the reflection, he sees two people appear who are Harry's late parents, James and Lily Potter.

"Mum? Dad?" they both nod and smiles. Harry reaches out to touch them, but only gets the mirror. Then, his mother puts her hand on his shoulder. He puts his own hand on his own shoulders, as if trying to feel her there. "Astrix! its my parents!" Harry pull her to the mirror, "Harry.. i dont see them.. i see me and hermione? kissing?" Astrix says confused "ew, romance." they both say in unison

The next night, Harry is back in the room where the mirror is, gazing longingly at the reflection where his parents are in. Dumbledore appears far behind him "Back again, Harry, Astrix?" Harry turns around and stands up. "I see that you, like so many before you, have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised. I trust by now you realize what it does. Let me give you a clue. The happiest man on earth would look into the mirror and see only himself, exactly as he is."
"So, then it shows us what we want? Whatever we want?" Astrix asked
"Yes...and no. It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desires of our hearts." Harry and Astrix look at eachother.. their faces were the definition of "the fuck."

"Now you, who have never known your family, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, Harry. This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it, even gone mad. That is why tomorrow it will be moved to a new home, and I must ask you not to go looking for it again. It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live." Harry looks back at the mirror, knowing that Dumbledore is right.

"but Proffeser, can the mirror ever be wrong?" Astrix asked "and why are you asking that?" Dumbledore asked, Harry chuckled. "well... i see me and hermione.. kissing.." Astrix responded. "hm, well, the mirror of erised is never wrong, maybe that is just the teenager styles kicking in." He winked. Harry was bursting in laughter

It is snowy in daytime, Harry is out in a main courtyard, bundled up, with Hedwig on his arm. He stops and she lifts off, soaring away into the sky. As the time passed when she returns, it is now spring time.

"Hi, Hedwig." Hedwig has just flown down to the table where Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Astrix are studying "Look at you playing with your cards. Pathetic! We've got final exams coming up soon." Hermione said "I'm ready! Ask me any question." "what are the three most crucial ingredients in a Forgetfulness Potion?" Astrix asked "...I forgot. but what about you! you're just drawing! you havent been studying at all." Ron said "professor snape told me to practice grade 3 potions? i dont know why." Astrix responded. "gee, grade three potions are hard!"

"uhm, what is a anitode to common poisons and what are the ingredients to an anitode to common poisons?" Harry asked "A potion that reverses the effects of common poisons. Contains Bezoar, Mistletoe Berries, and Unicorn Horns." Astrix said without hesitation "is that correct?" Ron asked "yeah.. it is!" Harry responded.

Just then, Neville Longbottom comes hopping into the Great Hall with his legs stuck together as the other students laugh at him.

"Leg-Locker Curse?" Ron asked "Malfoy." Neville approaches them amidst laughter from the other students "You have got to start standing up to people, Neville, your in gryffindor!" Astrid said, Neville is wobbling uncontrollably "How? I can barely stand at all!" He asked
Seamus jumping up, wand at the ready "I'll do the counter-curse!"
"No, that's all he'll need... you to set his bloody kneecaps on fire!" Hermione said
Seamus slammed his wand down angrily "I don't appreciate the insinuation, Longbottom. Besides, if anyone cares to notice, my eyebrows have completely grown back!" He then stalks off angrily, showing a large chunk of hair missing from the back of his head.
"I found him!" harry hands Ron a Chocolate Frog card of Dumbledore
