꧂The cold freezing night along with the heavy rains pouring on the grey wolf, running with all his might and getting deeper inside the never-ending forest, the tall trees hiding the sky and the grass turning brown from the wet soil, his paws hurting and bleeding from how badly he was injured, running for more than an hour endlessly and restlessly, he could still hear the loud growls and howls behind him, thus giving him the energy to run faster and not feeling tired any soon, being aware of what will happen to him once the rogues put their hands on him.
He ran fast, the rain being his savior helping him cover his traces and odor, he started perceiving lights from afar but that didn't stop him, the footsteps were only getting louder and the branches breaking right behind him were making him aware of how close he was to getting caught, the lights from afar he came to notice came out of be a big fire and he soon realized he was nearing the end of the forest and the entrance of a pack, a pack that looks big from the way four big alphas in their human forms were guarding the entrance, he felt a rush of panic when the guards saw him and brought out their swords, the four of them positioned themselves in front of the big open doors blocking his way. He started breathing unevenly out of fear of getting caught and having no way out, the exhaustion started to become noticeable.
He didn't give up though nor did he stop, the guards didn't scare him but his fate after getting caught by the rogues is much worse, giving him a last energy boost to increase his speed and dodging the first sword attack from the guard, the three others widened their eyes seeing the grey wolf running inside the pack but didn't ran after him when they saw other figures coming out of the woods, deep and low growls were coming from behind the trees, the guards quickly getting a grip of the situation, sending one of them to run and ring the alarm to alert the pack members, the rogues stayed hidden at the end of the woods, not letting the guard wolves see them, yet they knew they were aware of their presence.
The grey wolf kept on running and running, passing through small houses with closed windows and doors, he was all wet and exhausted, hungry and thirsty, he was in such a state, himself waiting to pass out anytime soon, he couldn't keep running anymore and the silence of the pack made him ease a little, no guards or rogues were running behind him anymore, however, when he was about to walk near to a river and drink some water, a loud bell was heard, an alarm, echoing through the silent pack, in seconds, the empty pack woke up, all lights were on and wolves in human and wolf forms running towards the entrance, when the wolf saw them he hurried himself to hide behind a wall.
