I made my way to the kitchen with Jalen behind me

Jalen: I found her everybody

Auntie Lisa: there she is

I stood next to my aunt on the other side of the island

Auntie Lisa; this is mr and Mrs hurts and this is my niece Liana

Me; hi nice to meet you

Mrs hurts: oh your very pretty

Mr hurts: when you said niece I was expecting a little girl (laughs)

Auntie Lisa: no she's a big girl

Mr hurts; well nice meeting you

I gave him a small smile

Jalen; aren't you in my science class

Me: uh yeah

Jalen: your soo damn quiet-

Mrs hurts: Jalen language please

Jalen: sorry I was just saying she's super quiet in school

I could see his father glaring at me then at jalen

Auntie Lisa: well come on y'all let's talk about this north face deal

I watched his parents follow my aunt to the office

Me: your not going with them
