Alessandra received a scold from Alice and Rosalie for taking the risk of challenging Jane and for cutting her arm, although the wound wasn't so deep. The girl also received a great hug from the young newborn, whose name was Bree.
-There's nothing to thank for, Bree. I wasn't going to allow you getting killed when you weren't part of the fight. - She strokes the young girl's hair.
-You're the best. That guy, Edward, is really fortunate on having you. - Bree compliments when pulling away.
-Of course I'm fortunate, I can't imagine a life without her. - Edward holds his partner's waist, placing a sweet kiss on her cheek. Alli laughs and closes her eyes while turning to the side since he keeps kissing her cheek multiple times. - It may take some time but don't call me Edward. I prefer you calling me Big Bro. - The vampire tells Bree, who smiles and nods.

-I gotta go see Thomas. I want to see how he's doing. - Alli's expression becomes concerned. Edward nods slowly and kisses his partner's lips. The girl returns the kiss but pulls apart seconds later. - I have to go see him, sweetie. - She whispers, him tightening his grip on her waist.
-Can't you go tomorrow? - Edward pouts, making her chuckle.
-I promised I would see him today. He's my best friend. - She tells him, fearing her friend isn't so injured. - I'm not taking long.
-Well damn, I can't convince to stay, anyway.
-Exactly. - Alessandra places a kiss on his lips. - By the way, you gotta tell Alce not to say a word about our engagement.
Edward nods, remembering he has to talk to his sister.
-I'll talk to her. But I cannot promise she'll keep quiet. - He jokes. - We'll have to tell our whole family and your parents. I want to ask formally for their permission.
-What if my dad wouldn't allow you marrying me? - Alessandra wonders, imegining such moment.
-Mmm... I would probably kidnap you and bring you here in order to secretly get married. Although, Alice would murder me. - They both laugh, knowing lice capable.
-It wouldn't be kidnap if I agree on running away with you. - Edward smiles at her words, leaning down to kiss her lips. - I love you.
-Say it again. - He begs, closing his eyes with a smile.
