At last, Yugo woke up. Everyone was in the same room, waiting for him while playing a card game (Your pick because I suck at anything but war and trash).
"You're awake!" Ava cheered, tackling him into a hug and abandoning her cards. Yugo watched as Ruel comically peeks at them while her back is turned.

Yugo groans and touches his head to find no fabric. "Great. Everybody knows now?" everyone agreed. So, Yugo ended up explaining his past with no mother, and just his adoptive father. Playing with the children next door, growing wings, his father wearing a hat identical to his in order to trick people as a joke, etc.

Eventually, Yugo pointed out, "Not only do I have wings, but scars too." everyone's head perked up in a bad way. "What do you mean?" Alibert asked. Yugo sighed, not wanting to, but having to explain this to his father.
"A dragon unlocked my markings for wakfu, but when it first appears, it has to burn a few layers of skin." he pointed to some parts of his arms and moved his shirt slightly to show more wakfu markings.

"Ouch." Adamai remarked, "I'm glad I come with mine born. Oof." Yugo laughed as the others cringed at the intricate burns. Amalia placed a hand on his head, and the boy nearly melted in her arms.
Alibert laughed, "Still got the old habits, huh?" Yugo nodded happily as Amalia played with a strand of his hair. Everyone looked at the trio in confusion.

"When Yugo was younger, he would always place my hand on his head. Even if it wasn't moving or doing anything, it always seemed to comfort him in the best of ways."
Alibert explained, "It seems as though Amalia found that out, and does it often." "What?" Amalia asked, "I like hair." the group laughed.

The each took turns, taking Yugo and playing with his hair. Amalia was doing hairstyles, Dally was tugging it lightly (Yugo showed no signs of discomfort, so everyone let it off the hook), Alibert did same old same old, simply placing his hand on the boy's head.
Ava liked to play with the hair near his roots, because it always seemed to be longer, and Adamai would just face-plant in Yugo's hair. Ruel just rubbed his hair obnoxiously, but even then, the hair didn't seem to tangle. During all of this, Yugo's eyes were half-lidded, too comfortable to move, and everyone deemed him immobile.

Yugo fell asleep soon after that, and Az (who we haven't heard about for almost the whole story) nestled in his hair. Ava was the only one left by nightfall, as she refused to leave.
There was something about the atmosphere that made her feel comfortable- safe even. It was probably the glow from the king's wings, for she spent the night tracing them (along with his scars), watching them twitch in recognition.

Adamai was watching from his bed across the room, unbothered by her actions. He knew that Ava often acted motherly to Yugo, and he guessed that now she had learned that he never had a mother before, she was probably determined to full that emotional gap.

She would hum soft lullabies from time to time, and Yugo would wake up for a few seconds before being lulled to sleep again by her voice. Yugo hadn't had a nightmare for 5 hours, which left him impressed.
The dragon also hypothesized that Yugo's nightmares were about his friends finding out his secret, but now that they knew, he could relax a great deal. They both could. Soon after that, the dragon king was asleep too, having listened to the Cra's singing.

Even after that, everything seemed calm and happy. There were no more conflicts. They were able to relax, helping out people who needed it (usually taking care of the minor stuff because they needed a break from stuff like that) and living a generally happy life.

Hello! Sorry, the conclusion was a little short compared to the almost 2000-word chapters I usually do (I have been trying to stretch them out a bit from 1000 - 2000 words)
