"Ngghh..."
For the past hour, Miyano Yoshikazu had been looking through his pile of BL manga, scrolling through google, and even texting a few of his friends for an ideal dating spot.
'Aquariums are the best dating spot for couples, there are many things to see and the mini gift shops are adorable!'...'I went to an amusement park with my boyfriend last month, we had a blast..!'...'Me and my girlfriend watched a movie together, well even though it was an action genre, it felt soooo romantic..!!'
"Me and sempai already did all of these..." Miyano sighed to himself.
"I don't have enough time to get another part-time job to save up for a different place for a date.. and I can't think of anythingg!!!"
"-Yoshi-kun..?" There was suddenly a faint sound of footsteps and then Miyano's door slowly opened... "Would you like some help..? <3"
"Oh, hello mom."
"Hmm, seems like you are quite busy, may I guess what you are doing..?"
It turns out, for the whole hour Miyano's mom actually paid attention to what her only child was doing, finding a cute and memorable place for a date. Therefore, she actually attempted to help Miyano 'behind the scenes' and attempted to find cute and romantic areas online, after all.. she was the only parent Miyano could turn to for advice.. his dad would probably end up teasing the life out of him.
"Mmmm... I'm trying to find somewhere for me and Sasaki-sempai to go to.. we haven't gone out.. in a while, since we both been busy with studies lately."
"Aww, I miss my younger days of dating, you and Sasaki-kun seem so lovey-dovey together~ You really are so adorable Yoshi-kun..!"
"...Thanks" Miyano turned away flustered, trying to cover his pink cheeks with his arm in embarrassment.
"Hmm.. I think you should go strawberry picking with Sasaki-kun."
"Strawberry..picking..?" Miyano really never heard of couples going strawberry picking for an ideal date.. not even in BL manga! On the other hand though.. strawberry picking might seem fun.
"Oh yes! I remember me and your father gone strawberry picking together while you were still veryy youngg~ They were so sweet! I even remember making smoothies after for the three of us. I recommend you go around late afternoon! around 5pm to 8pm latest! However... it might not really be ideal since it is recommended during colder months, but I'm sure it's okay!"
"I guess that doesn't sound bad at all!"
That same evening Miyano spent most of his night.. until 4am finding recipes and available ingredients for him and Sasaki to use to bake things with all the strawberries they've picked out.
"Sasaki-sempai!"
"Mya-chan!"
