Ancestors

400 years ago

Goodie's POV

I wonder.. where is she? I haven't seen that girl in 5 hours. Or so. Y/l/n. Anna Y/l/n. She's of German decent.

I'm running around looking for her. I cant find her. I need to find her.

I soon find her. In the library.

"Anna."

I walk over. She turns to me.

"Goodie."

She looks away. We had a falling out. She nearly died and it was my fault.

"Anna."

"Goodie what do you want?" She asks.

"Anna i am so sorry. I love you."

She looks at me, almost immediately.

"What?"

"I love you. And i am so sorry. I did not mean to do what i did. It was a terrible terrible mistake that i deeply regret. From the bottom of my heart. You are the most important person on this planet to me and to lose you would be to lose myself and i cant do that."

Anna closes her book.

"Allow me to have your forgiveness, i beg of you." I say.

She puts her book back on the shelf and looks at me.

"I forgive you. On one condition."

I nod.

"Anything." I say.

"Allow me a kiss." She says.

I nod. She kisses me. I kiss back. It's only a quick kiss but it feels good all the same.

How i could spend hundreds of years wrapped in her arms. I would die happy. I wish we could be happy together.

400 years later

Wednesday's POV

I'm in my dorm with Thing.

"Thing there is something about her that seems so familiar." I say.

I look at Thing.

"I don't recognize her." Thing signs.

I sigh. Enid walks in. I look at her. She's excited.

"You are NEVER gunna believe this!" She exclaims.

"What?"

"That Y/n girl?" Enid says.

I nod.

"Her ancestor is Anna Y/l/n."

"Right...."

"She dated Goodie." Enid says.

I frown.

"So what?"

She gives me the most unimpresed look i have ever witnessed her give anybody.

"So, Weds, this is why you recognize her. You told me when you were bleeding out last year that Goodie's spirit entered you. That could be the reason you recognize her. Because take a look at this drawing Xavier found of Anna Y/l/n that Goodie drew about 400 years ago." Enid says, passing me a drawing.

It's in pristine condition. And looking at the picture, Y/n is a dead ringer for Anna.

"Hmm.. do you think i should talk to her about it?" I ask.

"Yeah. Just as a suggestion. Because she might recognize you." Enid says.

"Her dorm is in Ophelia Hall, right?" I ask.

"Yeah. Next door to Yoko." Enid says.

"Right. I'll be back." I say, leaving the dorm.

400 years ago

Goodie's POV

I'm with Anna. We're walking through the woods together just talking and holding hands.

"I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come to the lake and read some books with me." Anna says.

I smile.

"Yes. I would like that. Now?" I ask.

"If you'd like." Anna says.

"That would be really nice." I say.

We go take out some books and go sit by the lake. I lay with my head in her lap as she reads a book of poems. They're love poems.

She has such a calming voice. So calming. So gentle. Enough to send you to sleep. I've fallen asleep many times just listening to her read poems and books. I could lay and listen to her read her poems and boks for hours. Her voice is so soft.

I love her. A lot.

400 years later.

Wednesday's POV

I knock on Y/n's dorm door. The door opens and there she stands with a little surprise on her face.

"Wednesday Addams. How can i help?" Y/n asks.

"Could i come in? This conversation requires seats." I say.

Y/n nods and lets me in. She closes the door and sits on her bed. I sit on the desk chair.

"Sooo, what's up?" Y/n asks.

"When i started, i recognized you almost immediately. I dont know why and i dont know how it is that it's taken me so long to figure it out why." I say.

"Have you figured it out?" Y/n asks.

I nod.

"At the end of last year, everything happened. I nearly died and my ancestors spirit saved my life. The spirit entered me, saving my life. And then i started having some visions of the past that involved you but i couldn't quite piece it together." I say.

"Your ancestor is Goodie Addams, correct?" Y/n asks.

I nod.

"How did you know that?" I ask.

"I did some crazy research when you joined. Also because for some reason i recognized you too. As if I'd seen you before in a past life or whatever. I started asking questions to my family. And it turns out that your ancestor, Goodie, dated my ancestor, Anna." She says.

"When did you figure this out?" I ask.

"Just about a year ago." She says.

Damn. My research is slow...

"Dont you find it odd though? How we seemed to recognize one another?" I ask.

"I did. I think its because we're both connected to our ancestors in a very close way that it was almost as if our past lives had connected." Y/n says.

She's smart. I like her. After a very long conversation with her, i went back to the dorm but we'd planned to spend some time at the library trying to find old scriptures that connect us both.

After about 6 months, she asked me to be her girlfriend. I said yes and now we're dating. Crazy.
