//LEON'S POV//
I went inside the room next to where I told Anarisa to sleep.
Kanina pa ako andito sa loob pero hindi ako makatulog. I have changed positions in sleeping na to try to fall asleep pero wala talaga.
Siya kaya? Is she sleeping na? I can't help to ask my self if Anarisa has fallen asleep na, unlike me na nahihirapang makatulog.
God, the things you did to me, Ris.
First time mangyari sa akin 'toh. Before, kahiga ko sa kama ay nakakatulog na ako agad. But when I met Inna's doctor. When I met Doc Ris, I always have a hard time falling asleep kasi iniisip ko kung nakauwi na ba siya or natutulog na kaya siya?
Hindi ako mapakali sa higa ko kaya tumayo nalang ako and went to the comfort room. I washed my face para naman ma-ease ako kahit papaano.
Why am I feeling this way? Eh andiyan lang naman sa kabilang kwarto si Anarisa, and I am sure she's safe, kaya I don't really know bakit ako nagkakaganito.
I sighed deeply and held the edges of the sink and leaned towards it.
I looked at the clock na asa hanging cabinet ng bathroom ko, the time is 1:52 am, grabe ilang minuto kaya akong nakatulala lang sa dingding ng bedroom ko.
Naghilamos ako ulit at lumabas ng kwarto to go to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took a water bottle and drink from it.
Kumuha na rin ako ng fruits na naka-cut na at nasa tupperware. I took a fork para iyon ang gamitin and hop into the kitchen counter, water bottle next to me while I am holding the tupperware with the mixed fruits, and started eating.
Kumakain ako nang marinig kong magbukas ang pinto kung nasaan si Anarisa. I stared at the door and saw her peeping to see who was in the kitchen. Kitang kita kasi ang kitchen from the guest room pati ang sala.
"Leon?" she asked, hindi pa siguro siya sure kung ako iyong asa counter eh kami lang naman ang taong andirito, "yes?" I asked, when she heard that she immediately opened the door wider and went outside to go to the kitchen.
She ran towards me. Why naman tumatakbo behkoh.
When she reached the counter where I was seating she chuckled.
She's chuckling and she's so pretty.
She opened her mouth and I raised my eyebrows as a sign to ask what she wants, she said "ahhh!" and opened her mouth again, alam ko na anong gusto niya. Sinubo ko sakaniya ang watermelon na dapat kakainin ko. Kinain naman niya ito and chuckled.
"Akala ko tulog ka na." I said and wiped my lips dahil may juice ng watermelon. "Hindi nga ako makatulog eh." she answered.
"Parehas pala tayo."
"Akala ko you went to sleep na agad kanina when you went inside the room."
"Well, I tried to. Pero hindi talaga ako makatulog, kaya ayan lumabas nalang ako at kumain. And who knew, lumabas ka din." I said and poked the tip of her nose. She smiled cutely, and I can't stop myself from admiring her.
Oh.
Oh.
Why can't I stop myself from smiling din? Her smile is so contagious or para lang talaga sa akin 'yun?
"Akala ko kasi may multo kaya sumilip ako kung sino."
"Oh sinong nakita mo? Multo ba?"
"Hindi. Pero nakakita ako ng maganda."
"Sus. Nambola ka pa." I said and looked away. Opo, kinilig po ako.
"So bakit hindi ka makatulog? Iniisip mo ako 'noh?" she teased, she sat next to me sa counter.
"Parang ganun na nga. Iniisip ko kasi if nakita mo na 'yung kaibigan kong multo." I teased her back and she pouted. "Ihhhh!" she said and buried her face behind my back. Matatakutin din pala 'toh.
"I'm joking, Ris. Pero yes, hindi ako makatulog dahil sa'yo, and I don't know why. Ikaw? Why are you still awake?" I asked she looked at me and took the fork I was holding and grabbed the container with the mixed fruits and took a bite of a cut banana.
"Hindi ko rin alam. Pero I was also thinking if you were sleeping na." she answered and placed the fork with watermelon in front of my lips, I opened my mouth and ate it.
She leaned on my shoulders while devouring the food I was eating.
"Gusto mo pa?" I asked when I saw that the container was about to be empty, she shooked her head, "No, I'm full na, inagaw ko na nga sa'yo 'toh eh." she said and raised it.
I chuckled and kissed the top of her head, "It's okay. At least nabusog ka."
"Hindi ka pa ba matutulog?" she asked at umalis sa pagkakaupo sa counter, she went to the sink and washed the container and the fork we used.
"Ikaw? Matutulog ka na ba?" I asked, "I don't even know if makakatulog ba ako or what." she said.
"What if, w-we sleep in the same room nalang?" I offered, kaysa naman hindi kami makatulog kasi iniisip namin ang isa't isa, at least if asa iisang kama lang kami, then we'll be able to see each other.
"I mean... if it's okay lang sa'yo." I added kasi hindi siya sumagot.
She dried her hands sa may towel na nakasabit malapit sa sink. And walked towards me, "Sure." she said.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero napangiti ako sa sagot niya at parang nawalan ng tinik ang lalamunan ko.
"Sa room mo or sa guest room?" she asked, "sa room ko nalang, mas sanay din ako run ea, and mas malaki 'yung bed dun." I said, she nodded and took a sip from her glass na may water.

We're inside my bedroom na, I brought extra pillows from the guest room para may magamit si Ris and para mas comfortable. Hindi rin kasi ako sanay matulog ng hindi tatlo ang unan, so magkukulang talaga ang pillow if hindi daragdagan.
Ris is already sitting on the bed and leaning on the backrest looking at me while I am leaning on the desk inside my room.
"Hindi ka pa ba inaantok?" she asked, kasi ayaw ko pang tumabi sakaniya at humiga sa kama.
Not gonna lie, kanina ko pa gustong matulog, kaso baka hindi pala siya komportable sa sitwasyon namin ngayon. But then again, ako nga pala 'yung nag-aya na magtabi nalang kami. Hayst. Ginusto ko nga pala 'toh.
"Will sleep in a while na rin, ikaw? Bakit hindi ka pa matulog?" I answered, "I'm waiting for you." she said. I smiled slightly at what she said. She tapped the mattress next to her indicating for me to lie in there.
I stopped leaning on the desk and walk to the bed. Humiga na ako while Ris is still sitting with her back resting on the backrest/headrest of the bed.
"Akala ko ba matutulog ka na?" I asked and moved to my side so I'll be facing her. She smiled and lowered herself. "Ito na po, Attorney." she said as she also moved to her side making us face to face.
"Good night!" I said and moved my head towards her placing a kiss on her cheeks.
"Good night, Leon!" she answered.
I covered ourselves with the blanket and slept.
