WHAT ARE WE?

Katatapos ko lang magtrabaho and Angel, a friend of mine, asked if I can go with her to the mall kaya pumayag naman ako since wala rin naman akong plano for the day.

"Now na ba tayo pupunta?" I asked her when I got out of my office dahil sa labas siya naghintay. I am still wearing my work clothes - a black slacks and grayish button-up polo with long sleeves.

"Oo sana. Mabilis lang naman, I just have to pick something up." Angel answered, "Ah sige. Will we use my car? Or you brought your car with you?"

"Nag-commute lang ako kanina papunta here, so yes, your car." She answered and pointed at me while smiling, I smiled back and nodded.

We went out of the office and went to the parking lot where my car is located. Pumasok na kami sa sasakyan at umalis.

We have arrived at the mall at sumunod lang ako kung saan siya pupunta.

Sharina is a friend of mine, we've known each other since college. When we graduated we applied to the same law firm and both got accepted. We hang out from time to time and kasama rin siya sa mga naging kaibigan ko dahil sa trabaho.

"Do you want to eat after this or mayroon ka pang pupuntahan?" she asked me, "Wala naman akong errands so dinner sounds fine." I answered.

"Okay. Dinner. My treat since sinamahan mo ako here, but I really do need to buy some things first."

"Sige lang. I'll just follow you around." I answered and kept on following where she was going.

Nakarating kami sa isang shop and true to her words mayroon lang talaga siyang pinick-up na parang package siguro dahil it was in a brown box. Or assuming lang talaga ako.

"Okay na?" I asked noong nakalapit na siya sa akin at palabas na ng pintuan nung pinuntahan niya at tumango siya para sumagot.

"Lagay nalang kaya muna natin 'yan sa kotse para hindi mo bitbit, ako 'yung nahihirapan para sa'yo ea."

"Yeah okay." Angel answered, I took the box she was carrying dahil ako talaga 'yung nabibigatan for her.

Lumabas na kami ng mall para ilagay 'yung bitbit n'yang box sa compartment ng kotse ko.

"Alis na tayo, let's just eat sa madadaanan nating restaurant. I'll hatid you na rin since it's late na." I said and she agreed.

Para naman kasi kaming ewan nun kung lumabas lang talaga kami para ilagay 'yung box sa compartment.

I started the engine and started driving. As I was driving I got curious kung ano ang laman nung box. Typical chismosang Leon.

"Ano laman nun?" I asked, "Laman ng?"

"Nung box."

"Ahhh. Mga gamit and clothes, padala ni Neil from Britain. He'll be staying here for a month kaya nagsisimula na siyang magpadala ng mga gamit niya." she answered.

Neil is Angel's boyfriend for a few years now. I actually approve of him kasi sobrang bait niya and he treats Angel nicely.

"Oh, that's good! I miss hanging out with him na. When he arrives let's hang out, together with the team."

"Awww. Sure I'll tell him that." Angel answered.

Hindi nagtagal at may nadaanan na rin kaming restaurant.

"Dito nalang tayo kumain." I said and parked the car, Angel agreed.

Pumasok na kami sa loob ng restaurant at umorder.
