The Next Day

Sakthi was in his college library reading a book. Suddenly someone from his back smacked his head. He rubbed his head and turned back to look at the person with an annoyed expression. But he immediately smiled widely seeing the person.

Sakthi: THALAIVI!!! [He shouted gaining everyone's attention in the library. ]

The librarian gave him a death glare and asked him to be quiet. The person and him looked at the librarian apologetically and said sorry.

The person who smacked his head was none other than his best buddy 'Sivaangi'.

Siv: Library la ipdi dhankathuvangala da? Medhuva pesanum.

Sakthi smiled sheepishly and whispered a sorry.

Siv: Paravala vidu. Seri enna adhisayam ah library la vandhu okandhirka?

Sakthi: Chumma dhan thalaivi. Indha book ah romba naala padikanum nu irundhen. Inniku dhan konjam free time kedaichidhu. Adhan vandhu okandhu padika arambichiten.

Siv: Vandhadhudhan vandha ennaku call panni sollirkalam la?

Sakthi: En Siv?

Siv: Unna thedi namba block full ah surhitu vandhen. Apram Pranav dhan nee library la irruka nu sonnan.

Sakthi: Sorry ma. Seri vaa idhuku compensation ah namba canteen polam.

Siv: Okayy polam.

Sakthi packed his bag and both of them moved to the canteen and sat at a table.

Sakthi: Nee inga wait pannu Siv, naa poi nambalku food vaangitu varen.

Siv: Ennaku oru chocolate milkshake and vanilla cake vaangiko.

Sakthi: [glared at her] Afternoontime la idhan sapduvangala?

Siv: Ennaku adhu sapdanum pola aasaiya irruke. Please ennaku vaangitu vaa pa. [She showed her puppy eyes which melted his heart instantly. ]

Sakthi: Seri Seri vaangitu varen. Moonja apdi vechikadhe. Paaka puppy maari irruka.

Siv: Me? Puppy?

Sakthi: Ayo thalaivi, naa apdi sollala. Nee puppy maari cute ah irruka nu sonnen. Naa unna kalaipen ah? Sollu.

Siv: Andha bayam irrukatum. Seri Seri nee poi vaangitu va. Aama nee enna avanga pora?

Sakthi: Naa ennaku noodles vaangalam nu irruken.

Siv: Oh Seri da. Hmm... Sakthi namba parcel vaangidalam ah?

Sakthi: En ma?

Siv: We will have it in our place.

Sakthi: Apde aagatum. En thalavi sollita adhuku maru peche kedaiyadhu.

Sivaangi chuckled at him and gestured for him to go.

He went and ordered their food. He waited near the counter and was scrolling through the phone. After getting the food he turned to his table and was shocked to see two boys sitting at their table and a boy trying to touch Sivaangi in a wrong way.

He marched towards them quickly, holded the boy's hand and twisted it backwards making the boy to scream in pain. The other boy stood from his place and backed up in fear.

Sivaangi was crying silently looking down.

Boy1: Aah aah anna vitrunga na. Ennaku valikudhu. Please vitrunga, naa theriyama panniten.
