"so" he said "you bring his hoodie?" he asked

"yep" i gave them over. before he left the room i needed to give him something else "matt" i said

"yes??" he replied with

i pulled out a note with a kiss mark on it " put this on the hoodies for me"

"ok" he said with a smile. put it on his bed he came back in jumped on his bed turned on the tv and asked what i wanted to watch, the first thing i thought of was beauty and the beast but the was me and chris thing so i stopped myself "i don't know" i told him

"you look cold want a blanket" he asked

"no no it's fine" i replied with

"alr well we can just watch outerbanks if you want" he asked

"okay" i replied with

matt's pov:

Y/n is so pretty. i want to tell her that i like her but my brother just broke her heart. she seems more quiet, less like her self. more like me when i get anxious.

"hey you good" i asked

"huh" she said waking up from spacing out

"you okay" i asked

i saw tears fill her eyes. she shook her head and i hugged her. i didn't care that she was my brothers ex, she felt bad, bad that she let Chris cheat on someone even though she didn't know about it.

"i just wish that he told me the truth" she said

"i know, i do too" i replied with "but hey at least you know the truth now"

"yea but i i don't know how to say it i just feel bad for something i didn't know of" she said

i put my hand on her cheek and told her "you can't blame yourself" she looked into my eyes, wrapped her hand around my neck, and kissed me. i kissed back. i knew it was wrong but it felt so right, the adrenaline flowed through me like electricity and i felt a spark. our kiss lasted about 5 seconds it could've been longer but then chris walked in. she quickly let go of me and i started at him blankly.

"i saw your note next to my hoodie. i read it. but i didn't wanna see this" he said "you said you missed me" he said with angered tears filling up his eyes "But you kiss him" he said "I LOVED YOU Y/N" he yells at her

"CHRIS STOP" I yell back

"oh your siding with her" he said

"i should go" y/n said but i stopped her

"chris tell me what the note said" i asked. when he told me i was shocked "you guys have some serious issues" i said

"why'd you kiss him." he asked y/n

"because" she said

"because?" he asked

"You read the note. he helps me . you just stand there." she said "i have to go" she said and kissed me on the cheek then shoved chris outta the way.

then i woke up from my day dream.

y/ns pov:

matt started to day dream and i woke him up. then he asked what i wrote in the note

"i still wanna be friend with your brother, that's practically what i wrote" i said

"oh cool" he replied with looking at my lips. now i'm not the best at stuff but i could tell that matt liked me, the way he was blushing and smiled i could just tell. looking at his eyes i wondered if i felt the same, or maybe it's just the effect that chris has. i found myself trying to fight the urge to put my lips on his. i started to put my hand closer to his but then he interrupts.

"i should probably shower"he says with a smirk on his face

"ok" i said started to go on my phone and matt went into the bathroom and i just scrolled through tiktok, when he came out he was shirt less. i didn't realize i said wow out loud til it was to late.

"did you just say wow" he asked well putting on a random shirt

"not to you, to the tiktok i'm watching" i replied with

"oh really what was it about" he asked sarcastically well leaning closer to me

"uhm" i said nervously staring at his lips as he licked them well looking at mine he leaned in almost as he was gonna kiss me untill we heard foot steps coming up the stairs, he quickly laid on his back grabbing his phone out of his pocket. it was chris, he asked to speak to me in private and pulled me into his room.

"what is this note" he asked

"it's the truth" i said he lifted up my chin and kissed me well i giggled

"hey hey i said i wanted to keep it slow" i said he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in "when have we ever been slow" he asked.
