The Journal Extraordinaires is a project collection or sequence of novels, anthologies, poems, and short stories by midnightowler. Many of these works were originally written in different journals between 2010-2022, during Midnight's lifetime.

Some were published and unpublished. With rare exceptions, the crafts aren't in any way related to one another unless it's a series or in the same universe. It's all about adventures of a journey, whether a trip around the world, under the oceans, in another universe and dimensions, beneath the earth, or just on our land.

Journal Extraordinaires is what I call all of my works. And I call my readers/supporters owls or moonlights, who hoot and guide through midnights. My crafts mainly take you on different voyages, so if you're ready to sail and fly, come with me and take an adventure!

I created this project to explore and widen my scope with not just one genre but try until I find my forte. Hence, I mainly write using Speculative Fiction. It's a fun experience and difficult when jumping on different paths of genres, like a voyager sailing through the sea or an astronaut discovering the galaxies.

I started writing when I was young and grew up on it as a hobby. It feels good when you let out your thoughts and put them on a piece of paper. Sometimes I wonder if writing is really for me. Stuck in a void and feeling like you're missing something out.

Between 2014-2023, I've been on hiatus and left my works on drafts. I still write when I have time. Now, I hope one day I'll find that courage to publish most of these stories for memories, and finally, I can say, "I am proud that I did it, and here I am now."
