June 6, Freshly Baked

It had been about a week now since Sua had made it to her grandmothers house.

As she said, there was plenty of work to be done, and in the first week Sua felt as if maybe helping Nana Mae wasn't the best idea.

She had already figured out how to change a door, fix a toilet, put oil into a car and change floor boards.

However, it was nothing compared to the amount of small, menial tasks she put Sua to.
"Sua! Come read this text for me"
"Translate my notes"
"Make my bed"
"I need a foot rub!"

Of course, she loved her Nana, but shes not exactly a beck and call kind of girl. She desperately needed a breath of fresh air.

Lucky for her, Nana planned to have a few of her friends over to make doenjang. Which meant she would have to go down into town to get some ingredients that they couldn't find on the farm.

She pulled on a loose fit t-shirt and pair of jorts and set off to find the ingredients.

She walked all the way to the store. The lady working the counter greeted her nicely. She grabbed what she needed and left soon after.

She was walking down the road when she saw a boy standing off to the side with his friends. He was tall and fit with blonde hair, and he was equally as handsome as his physique.

She had been looking for a little too long when his friends pointed her out, he turned to face her and smiled.

Sua flushed pink with embarrassment and turned on her heels. "Geez Sua you just had to stare didn't you..."

She shrugged it off and walked back home, it wasn't like she would ever see him again.
