You wrote me a goodbye letter
You told me not to open it until you..I won't say it. Said it was incase you don't fight this battle.
I cried.
I cried until I couldn't breathe because this made it all real. How you could be gone and I would have no ability to help you. And yet, you're still the one comforting me. I think you cried a little too because you held me tight enough where I wanted to forget how weak you actually are.
The letter is on my desk and occasionally, I want to rip it up and burn it. I never want to read that stupid piece of paper. Ever.
And if I do, that means my world is broken beyond fixing.
