Barnaby's POV:
I didn't really wanna leave, especially after what they just said to him. I am worried for him afterall. But he seems to be keeping his head, so I might just leave. I have a bone to pick with the neighbors.
"It's not your fault Wally, okay? And keep him safe home." I say, patting one one the walls. Home creeks the floorboards in agreement. And I'm off.
I find the group out on the street, talking with his father. They seem to notice me, and I'm glad they did, because that means I already have their attention.
"You all are the rudest group I've ever met!" I yell, as I advance towards their small crowd. They seem offended. After the heart shattering insults they threw at him, they don't have a right to be offended. Frank steps up. "It was for the good of the-" "The good of WHAT frank? Answer me that. The good of the guy you just met? Do you really think Wally would threaten someone without reason?!" Everyone was dead silent. "I thought so."
"And where is Leslie? She needs to hear "
We all soon realize none of us have seen Leslie all day. I forgot to call her when we found Wally.
"My ears are ringing," she says, looking upset and covered in dirt. "Why didn't you call me, I was up ALL NIGHT."
"Leslie, I am so sorry, I found him, and so much happened, and everyone is being absolutely-"
"Apology accepted, but where is he?"
"Oh he's in home." Julie seems to butt in, sounding genuine yet angry.
"Good, now what did I need to hear?" Leslie says, raising an expecting eyebrow.
"Barnaby's 'main character moment'." His mother says, looking at me yet seemingly begging to leave.
"You know what, talk Barnaby. I need to be caught up anyway."
With that, I start on my sentiment. "Well after the vase incident, I offered to bring his parents home. Patricia (his mother) rushed to my house to get tweezers and bandages ready for when we got there. His drunk father, who I was walking home, started to laugh and say 'Can I tell you a secret?' before I could even answer he tells me (proceeds to say story of earlier bc I'm lazy) and laughed it off as though he wasn't about to hurt Wally! I go to check on him today, and he's absolutely crushed. He didn't even want to face you all today, because he KNEW you would act like this! So when I say that you are the most inconsiderate people I know, I MEAN IT!" I didn't even think I would yell. I was crying, even though they didn't hurt me. I opened my eyes, to see Eddie looking heartbroken, frank comforting him as Julie and Sally cry and hugging each other. Poppy looked surprised, his parents shooting daggers at me with their eyes, and Leslie deadpan staring at me.
"Sounds about right," Leslie says, not looking nor sounding surprised. Everyone seemed to surprisingly look at her, even me. "My father never really liked his stepson. Especially when he came out as trans."
Eddie and Julie seemed to say what we were all thinking. "Trans?"
"Eddie what's a trans person?" Julie asks. Even as a full grown adult, she'd hadn't heard of much, considering she lived in the forest. "I'll explain it to you later, we have some thing to get situated here." he responded, before turning back to face Leslie.
I turned to look at Leslie as well, she didn't seem to have anything to say to us. "I'm going to check on Wally." She says, earning an eye roll from her mother.
Then she walks towards home.

Hello everybody! I will be writing this from Barnaby's (as shown), Leslie's and Wally's POV. Leslie gets her POV from quite a few chapters ago. I don't know how to make a eerie past type thing for Wally, slowly revealing more, so if that's crappy I warned you. Anyway, glad to give you all another chapter, and may you all have a spectacular day or night.
