TW: Self harm, blood loss
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barnaby's POV:

"Wally what is that?"

I even surprised myself with what I said. I couldn't get my head around it, despite the fact I knew exactly what it was.

an old, rusty, bloody razor.

Was I angry? No, not at him, but not exactly sad. Pity, maybe? Wally seemed to squirm, so I put him down. He seemed to literally try and follow my gaze, and when he saw it, he looked just as surprised as me. Then he... started to cry?

Wally's POV:

I can't believe it. I did that. That's my blood, and I did that, even after I quit. Why can't I just be normal?

' ' h e y ' '

I promised myself I'd stop.

' ' h e y ' '

Why couldn't I? I was doing so well.

' ' h e y ' '

I really messed up. Guess I always do.

"hey"

I go to look at his face. He looks scared, why wouldn't he be? I did something stupid again.

"lets get you home. you're going to be okay."

none of this is okay. it will never be okay.

"can I pick you up?"

I raise my not hurt arm up again. He doesn't need to see the damage.

Barnaby POV:

I carried him to home, and when I did, I immediately searched for bandages, home helped of course. I found them and immediately went back to Wally, who was seated, fetal position on the couch. "Would you mind showing me the... um."

Wally's POV:

I stick up my arm, not wanting to think about it. I was starting to get light-headed.

Barnaby POV:

When I saw that, I'm pretty sure I gasped. "Wally, you need stitches!" I never ran faster. There was blood everywhere, how did I not notice it before. Home got into the commotion, banging to where the stitching things were. I came back to find Wally just staring at the blood, almost as if he was in a trance. I asked for his arm again, in which he reluctantly gave. Of course I stitched up his arm. He didn't even flinch. I bandaged it up after and Wally looked at the bandages with such an unreasonable expression. Then he stood up and got a whiteboard. It took a lot longer than needed for him to write out 'sleep'. "Are you okay to walk there?" I ask, although he's already halfway up his staircase. "Everyone's outside, so I'll be over there." I say, not expecting an answer.

Then I realize I forgot to call Leslie.
