~prologue~

The taxi was quiet the only noise that you could hear was the sound of the engine of the automobile that was taking us to the destination that our father told the driver you could also hear the pitter patter of the rain as it dripped onto the window glass as well as the wind outside as I was looking out my window to see the scenery I feel a light wind on the back of my neck I look over to my right to see my sister yui had open the window yui was a pretty girl with platinum blonde hair she had Rosy pink eyes and she gave off the look of a deer cotton headlights but she gave off the cute look though that was not the personality that she truly had just a facade she tries to act innocent when we meet new people as well as people from the church she used to blame me for a bunch of things that she did though it never really worked the church I was like an angel I was Majestic and graceful and when it came to you she tried to copy me and she tried to get the same image and be treated like that as well like she was a high deity and we're supposed to respect her and bow down to her that she was supposed to be seen as a high regard and we were just lowly peasants, though her schemes never did work because at the church they saw her as just another kid who was misunderstood though when it came to father he tried to love us equally but he's expressed on multiple occasions that I was his favorite cause I did worship God to next time I'm not a religious junkie like that but I do believe that God has a path and I believe in God I took on church activities I helped around I cooked I cleaned I took care of the garden in the back of the church and I made sure that everybody was comfortable and okay yui on the other hand she mainly participated just to show the church how she could be a sweet angel but really behind that disguise of the innocent naive girl she was really just a rude person and very manipulative but as I sit there knee deep down the rabbit hole of my thoughts I didn't realize that she noticed me staring

Yui:
Gosh I don't even know why father wanted you to come with me anyway I'm a big girl and I'm older than you I could take care of myself besides you're just going to get in my way you're just a burden I don't even know why father adopted you you're not even his real child and yet you're the favorite and everyone loves you you're just annoying and you're really ugly too no wonder your real parents didn't want you now stop looking at me I know I'm pretty and all that but you're just getting creepy.

Yuki:

I'm not creepy first of all and for one I was asked to come on this trip as well you weren't the only one father had to go on a business trip remember he's sending both of us away and last time I checked where the same age so you're not my older sister and you don't have to be rude you have told me nicely I was just spacing out.

Yui:

Oh my just shut up no one cares for your opinion nor your words and you're bothering the driver as well as me like just go away I don't care for what you have to say.

Yuki:

It's whatever yui I could really care less right now I just want to sit here relax and enjoy the scenery until we get to our destination .

In the end yui just scoffed at me and went back to mind in her own business I just kept looking at the scenery until I felt the car stop I looked to my right to see that you were in front of a gate that holds a big mansion it looked a little old tiny but it was very pretty I just kept looking at the flowers and all the Roses the white ones are my favorite yui got out the car without trying to pay the driver for his services I ended up paying him got out and grabbed my luggage I noticed that yui was already ahead of me walking towards the door so once I close the trunk the driver immediately drove away me and you were both stopped just to watch it drive away we both thought it was odd but we kept going thinking nothing of it oh really as I look back at it now I really should have thought that something was wrong but I digress as we were walking towards the door I felt a little water drip on me I looked down at my hands confused until I heard a squeal come from right next to me, I looked to my left to see yui freaking out over a little drops of rain saying how she couldn't get her hair and clothes wet she made a Mad Dash for the door and I went along with her because I didn't want to be left behind but it was just a little bit of water as we make it to the door I start knocking on the door to notify that we have arrived nobody came to answer the first time my sister went to knock again the door was already open as my sister goes and tries to go through the door to get inside away from the rain I tell her that we should wait by the door because this is not our home nor is it our property so we should be respectful and wait to be greeted but at least wait inside by the door so that way we don't get wet she looked at me incredulously scoffed and trotted inside leaving her bags by the door not caring of who owns the house or how it was in polite of her to just walk in like that she thought that since she would be living here that she had every right to go in and explore and that was just rude but I digress I couldn't be left alone because I was a little scared cause it was really dark as we were looking around the house door closed on us and it scared us so as we were looking around my sister yui started yelling to get somebody's attention and guide us to our rooms I was looking around and I saw a boy to my left on a two-seater couch I didn't know if he was sleeping or anything but I didn't want to disturb him but he was the only attendant visible so against my better judgment I went up to him trying to wake him up assuming that he was asleep you we didn't realize that I was walking over to someone so she just kept on being loud just looking around as I got closer to the boy I looked at his features and he was a handsome guy about my age he had reddish orange hair and very pale skin I couldn't see his eyes because his eyes were closed but he looked like a god in my opinion he was wearing a school uniform that was not put together right his pant leg was rolled up and he had a couple buttons undone and his tie tied around his neck and not around his collar after observing his features I got a little closer and started to shake him gently assuming that he was sleeping I wanted to be soft and not give him a rude awakening I kind of whispered in a soft tone asking him if he could help me and my sister but as I did this for a minute I realized just how cold he was, when I touched his skin he was cold to the touch and I was worried that something happened so I placed my head on his chest just to realize that he didn't have a pulse and I couldn't hear heartbeat I got worried that he passed away so I got out my phone and started dialing 911 to call for an ambulance as I was in the process of doing that in the corner of my eye I saw movement and I saw a hand quickly coming into my vision and snatching my phone away I looked up from the hand to me beautiful emerald green cat like eyes staring at me viciously and I come to the realization that it was the boy I was confused because he didn't have a pulse so I didn't know how he was moving but I let that slide thinking nothing of it as I looked at him he complained to me saying how this was not my house so I should be more quiet and that I had no business wandering in here like I own the place I apologized saying that it was my sister over there being loud so with her being so nice she didn't realize that there was someone still here and she still didn't take notice but as I was saying all this I felt like I was being grabbed I looked over to see that the boy who I don't know the name of grabbed me and pinned me to the couch that he was recently just sleeping on I looked up at him a little scared but also curiously cuz I didn't know what was going on I asked him what he was doing to know what his intentions were but he told me

As he got closer to my face I was mainly just confused I just kept looking at him like I was in a trance until I felt a wet muscle on my neck that made my spine shiver as I felt his breath on my neck I Heard a Voice from my right.

Ayato didn't I tell you to take your private activities to your private quarters this is the greeting room not some place you can squander about.

As I looked back at the boy who I now know is ayato I see that he gave off an incredulous look at the other boy who had just arrived into the room.

Ayato:
Damn it Rejii you always have to ruin my fun.

As ayato was saying this he released me from his grasp and I got up and went towards the other boy now known as Rejii and I very much so in a polite manner notified him that of what my father had told me.

Yuki:
Hello sir I'm sorry for the intrusion but me and my sister were told that we were supposed to live here by our father he's currently on a business trip.

As I was saying all this he just stared at me with an expression that I couldn't quite place and it was quiet for a moment until we heard a squeal from our right I look over to see my sister yui running towards us giving off the innocent facade that she knows will get her way , she runs over towards Rejii and holds on to him like a lifeline asking for his help he looks a her incredulously like she was just some animal being loud and didn't pay her no mind and addressed me.

[Rejii]

Who are you two

Yuki:

I'm Yuki komori and this is my sister yui we were sent to live here in till our father is back from his trip

He expressed his emotions a little with the smell smirk and said at least one of us has manners yui just looked around like a deer caught in headlights wondering of who he was , Rejii was confused and asked ayato to explain the situation to him at once I just gave him a side glance and scoffed

Ayato :

How should I know I'm just finding about this too, hey melons how come you and pancake didn't say anything

Yui being sick of being ignored finally started talking

Yui:

That's because you attacked me and who are you calling melons are you calling me melons and her pancake

Ayato looked at yui like she said the dumbest thing in the world, he started laughing and said that he called me melons and that it was stupid of yui to even think that he would call her melons when she's flat as a pancake whereas I'm the much bigger in chest size yui just scoffed and looked away from being embarrassed as she asked Rejii of who he was he told her that we should be having this discussion in the greeting area and told us to follow him and said that he would get somebody to collect our things directing us to look over as we looked over we see a butler grabbing our luggage and disappearing into the darkness yui got scared and immediately followed Rejii where as I just look intrigued and calmly followed Rejii and yui leaving the room ,when I looked back at the couch that ayato was just sitting on i come to see that he was no longer there and I couldn't help but think that something was off.
