Chapter 3: The First Date

This is set when Ellie and Dina are 19

Ellie's POV:
I'm going to ask Dina out today. I just really hope she says yes, she's my best friend. What if she says no and then hates me for asking?! Ugh! I'll just go talk to Mira.
I walk over to Mira and Tommy's house and knock on the door, Tommy opens the door.
"Hi Tommy, is Mira here? I need to talk to her about something." I say
"Yah Shes just up stairs, come on in." Tommy says
I walk in and go up stairs
"Mira, it's Ellie, can I talk to you about something?" I ask when I get up there
"Yah, I'm in the reading room!" Mira says
I go to the reading room and she asks
"So what is it that you want to talk about?"
"Well I want to ask someone out.." "but I don't want to mess up our friendship." I say
"Oh, who is it?" She asks
"Dina, I want to ask out Dina."
"Oh, honey, just ask her. I bet it won't mess up your friendship." "But If your to scared to ask her out then just don't ask her out, but If you don't ask her now, she might find someone else and you will miss your opportunity." She says
"Oh, thank you Mira." I say
Mira hugs me and says
"Just do what you think is right."

Ellie's POV:
I think I'm going to ask Dina out the same way I asked her to be m friend. I walk up to her and sit next to her and say
"Hey Dina, do you maybe want to watch a movie at mine today? But like as a date?"

Dina's POV:
I sit down at mine, Ellie's, and Jessie's tabs for lunch, I'm the first one here. Ellie's the second one out of the three of us. She comes up to me and asks
"Hey Dina, do you maybe want to watch a movie at mine today? But like as a date?"

No One's POV:
"Oh, well I'm sure I guess.." Dina says kinda surprised
"We don't have to if you don't want to!" Ellie says
"No no no, I do want to!" Dina says
"Okay! Great! I'll see you tonight?" Ellie says
"Yah!"

Ellie's POV:
I'm getting everything ready for when Dina comes over, I made popcorn, I set out the projector and screen, I made the couch really comfy. I really hope Dina isn't just trying to be nice.
I hear a knock on the door, it's Dina.
I'm getting really really nervous all the sudden. I walk over to the door and open it
"Hey, Dina!" "Come on in!" I say
"Hey Ellie!" Dina says
We both sit on the couch
"What movie do you want to watch?" I ask
"I have Identity Thief, Grown Ups 2, Enough Said, Scary Movie, and Bring It On." I say
"Can we watch Enough Said?" Dina asks
"Yah, ofc!" I say while getting up and putting the movie on.

Dina's POV:
I can't believe I'm on a date with a girl! I knew I liked them but I just didn't think I'd ever be on a date with one, I never even expected Ellie to like me! Especially since she's my best friend. I'm so glad she said something, if she didn't say anything, I don't think I'd ever be able to ask her out. I think I actually really like her. I mean I know I like her but now that I know that she likes me, I like her even more.
"Hey Ellie?" I ask
"Yah?" She says
"Um, do you wana go to mine tomorrow?" I ask  "Like another date?" I say
"Yah!" She says
"Okay cool!" I say
