CHAPTER SEVENTY ONE !

Tara had revealed that there was another community called the oceanside that were also serving the saviours. like in their name, their community was next to the ocean. she had washed up there after falling in the river on the two week run she went on. she had been told about denise when she got back, which estella was sure was heart breaking, but she wasn't there to see.

rick had also gone to see some people that lived at a garbage dump. they had hundreds of people, which alexandria needed. they had agreed to help them fight if rick found them some guns. which explained the reason they were at oceanside. she'd heard the garbage people were weird, though. apparently they'd put rick in one of the dumps and forced him to fight off a walker with metal spikes. she was beyond glad she wasn't there to see that.

estella was in a room at the oceanside that belonged to the leader, natania. it was a community of women, after the saviours had killed every single man over the age of ten. that made estella very nervous when she'd heard about it. she didn't think that they'd go as far to kill children, but clearly they did. it made estella more nervous to ever see any of them again. if they took her, she was sure she would die. she was sure they would kill her.

tara was next to estella, a gun in her hand. it was tara's bright idea (not) to have estella in the room with her to show her that they also had kids and understood how they felt. she didn't really care about the oceanside. she was more concerned about rosita and sasha going after negan, which enid and jesus had revealed. just like daryl expected. she couldn't handle losing another member.

"so your plan is to stand here and wait for the woman to come in? then you're gonna hold her at gunpoint until she agrees?" estella asked tara with raised eyebrows.

"not exactly. just so she listens to us." tara answered.

"all right." estella replied, before the door opened.

tara clocked the gun, making natania turn around as tara held it up to her. "hi. stay quiet and put your hands above your head."

"we should've just killed you in the village." natania said, as estella began to pat her down for weapons.

she felt guilty doing this. it wasn't like oceanside had done wrong, alexandria was just desperate. they were broken, and they had to do what they had to do. it didn't mean that scaring people ever got any easier, though. estella was sure she'd always hate it.

"you'll be glad you didn't." tara replied.

"you two aren't the only ones here, are you?" she suspected.
