Looking around the lady's house you don't see anything out of the ordinary. In the living room there is a old brown leather couch and a small box TV set. There is a big lamp beside the couch with a pink pastel lamp shade. I slowly make my way to the kitchen to find it the walls painted a bright sun yellow colour, and a small white fridge to the right with pictures of children on it. Passing the children in the pictures off as just her grandchildren I looked to the left side of the room, to see a big collection of sharp knifes right beside a bleach white sink. There is a window above the sink and white cabinets beside the window on both sides. "You have a lot of knifes." I noted. "Oh yes. Well, I do do a lot of cooking here." She told me. I look around to find her standing behind me, with her pail Bonney arm resting across her formless white floral dress. "Okay." I replied plainly. "Why aren't you at home dear? It's quite late." She questioned me. "Well... My mother and I got into a fight and I left home." I told her while rubbing the back of my neck. " oh, I see." There was a long strip of silence. Then she started talking again. "Well, your welcome to stay the night here." She smiled. I smiled back, while thanking her. "You can sleep in the guest bed room." The kind old lady informed me. I nodded my head and walked out of the bright kitchen. I went down a narrow hall way that was attached to the living room. it was an ugly dull wilted red colour. there was no pictures or lights in the hallway. only the ugly red colour, white doors, and darkness. the last door of the hallway was the guest bedroom. i pushed the white door wide open. once i looked inside, i got and odd unsettling feeling. the room was very bare. it has a small horizontal window up near the ceiling and the walls are a light grey colour, theres a small metal bed pushed to one side of the room. the bed was not very welcoming, there is only a tiny white pillow and two thin ugly green coloured blankets covering it. but you had to admit the bed did match the cold small room perfectly. i took off my bag and dropped it on the ground, then flopped down on the hard bed. tomorrow will be a long day. i covered myself with the two thin blankets and rested my head one the hard pillow. my eyelids were starting to get heavy, so i let sleep take over my body.
