So, I'm currently on my way to deal with a pest. More specifically, a rodent. I wonder how this is gonna go...
Anyway, I travelled to the peasant worker who had a rodent problem. I saw her and smiled.
She saw me and smiled a bit. "I'm glad somebody took the job. I hope you can get the job done."
"Of course I can. But what should I do ? Do you want me to kill the pest or just chase it away ?" I asked her, to which she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"I don't care what you do or how you do it. I simply want that pest gone. She's ruined my crop and my grains. Not only that, but she might have also poisoned some of my food, so I had to throw it all away! And worst of all, when my daughter went down there, she was raped!" The house owner complained in anger.
Woah... must be quite a problem then. Sound just like the normal house rats or sewer rats from Earth, except monster girl versions.
"Then do you know what species of rat it is ?" Yes, you heard that correctly.
Jophiel informed me that there are different species of monster girls of the same familia, just like in the original world as well. That applies to rodents as well. The most commonly found species of rodents are the sewer rats and house rats, mostly the latter.
House rats are simply normal rodent monster girls. No magical abilities at all. Easy to kill. They're afraid of humans and will try to avoid any sort of confrontation with humans. They mainly feed on grains, human food, grass and meat. This type is small, around 4ft-4'6ft tall and has grey or black fur. They are innocent and shy. They have a lifespan of about 12 years.
Sewer rats on the other hand, are more aggressive and harder to handle. These ones are bigger, standing between 4'11ft and 5'5ft. They generally have brown fur and longer snouts. These types are warriors, more ferocious and dangerous. They can use poison magic and induce disease, unlike the harmless house rats. Sewer rats are mostly found underground but when above ground, destroy all crops. They are aggressive, lustful and forceful. They have a lifespan of about 20 years.
Thank you for the explanation Jophiel. Well, I already know I'm dealing with a sewer rat. She said the crop and grains were poisoned. A house rat wouldn't be able to do that.
"Don't worry. I'll go fix the issue." I reassured her and walked into the house.
On entering, I made a barrier that prevents anyone from entering. It also prevents any sound from leaking and no one can see through it. I checked and figured out that there were no humans in the house. I walked forward and saw a door. I knew this door led to the basement, which is where I was informed the rodent was at.
I slowly opened the door and walked downstairs, making sure to close the door behind me.
Oh boy, it sure is dark. If I didn't have enhanced vision, I wouldn't have been able to properly see anything.
I walked down the stairs without bothering to use a candle or lamp since I could still see. Not too clearly, but good enough. I got to the basement and looked around the place. I feel a life signature in this room. I know for a fact that the creature is in here.
"Oh~ what do we have here~?" The tone of the rodents voice made me shiver.
Suddenly, I was thrown to the ground as I felt two slender hands gripping my arms tightly, pining me to the ground. I stared up at my attacker and saw what they actually looked like.
