Weapon: Claws. A Gauntlet over both knuckles loaded with dust of all different elements.

Prologue

Y/N POV

I ran at the Beowolf in front of me and my claws clashed with the claws of the Beowulf. I backed up and kicked it away from me.  It charged at me, desperately trying to hit me. I dodged to right and ducked from its 2nd attack. My claws glowed red with the fire dust. Stabbed my claws in tue neck of the beowolf, killing it. It dispersed with a black mist.

Y/N: There's been less Grimm here then usual lately.

Mom: Y/N?! There's something here for you!

Mom was calling from the door to our home.

Y/N: Coming, mom!

I ran over to her.

Y/N: What is it?

Mom: This came in the mail today, addresses to you.

Y/N: For me?

She handed me the envelope and I opened it.

Y/N: Huh?

Mom: What is it?

Y/N: Am invitation...to attend beacon academy.

Mom: Are you serious?!

Y/N: I'm just a normal trainee with no special skill. Why am I getting invited?

Mom: You did graduate signal with an all around good score. Maybe they were impressed. Just be happy you get to attend the best huntsman academy in beacon.

Y/N: I...but...what about you?

Mom: It will be lonely around here but I can take care of myself. After all...

I looked at her, her right ear is missing due to a grimm attack when I was little and left my left ear scarred.

Mom: I'm the one who trained you to use those claws of yours.

I nodded and hugged her, she hugged back.

Mom: Your father would be so proud...

I'm going to beacon.

Y/N: I'll get ready to go.

Mom: I'll miss you.

Y/N:...I'll miss you too...

Time-skip

Sitting on the corner of the bullhead, I started drifting off.

Fire everywhere. I was searching for my mom as fast as my legs can carry me.
