Weiss Schnee x Male reader: Mending a Cold Heart

Weiss POV

It was the day of the tournament. Team FLME was going up against a team from Vacuo.

Osana: How much has Y/N grown during his time here at Beacon.

Yang: You trained Y/N, right?

Osana: That's right. He really wanted to be a huntsman when he was young.

Weiss: That match is going to start.

Team FLME was on their side of the field. A desert field. On the other side was their Vacuo opponents, in a forest field. Ray, a slim man with dark brown hair and green eyes, holding 2 blades, Susie, a girl with long purple hair and eyes holding a sniper. Persephone, a girl with silver hair, golden eyes, and a cat tail, who doesn't seem to be holding any weapon. Kira, a man with red hair and blue eyes, holding 2 hand hand guns.

The battle started. Right away there was a shot coming from the trees. Mia created a wall of fire, blocking herself and shot at where the bullet came from with her knife pistol. There was movements in the trees.

Y/N POV

Y/N: Lena!

Lena ran in front of me and blocked Ray with her katana. I ran ahead of her. The cat Faunus jumped in front of me and swiped at me. I jumped back and raised my arm to block her kick. I swung at her, she ducked and sent a right hook at me. I stepped back and managed to punch her back making her fly back before landing on her feet. Elias ran Kira. Kira shot his hand guns at Elias. Mia used her fire wall to block Elias. Elias got to him and swung his mace. Kira pressed a button and 2 short swords came from the guns, blocking the mace. Another shot rung out. Elias pushed Kira back but got hit in the chest by the bullet.

Mia: That sniper girl is a pain in the ass...Y/N?

Y/N: Go for it, Mia. We got things over here.

She nodded at me and ran into the forest to find the sniper.

Ray: No you don't!

Ray got in front of Mia.

Lena: You're fighting me!

Lena thrusted her katana forwards catching Ray off guard knocking him into a tree.

Lena: Now!

Mia took the chance and ran into the forest.

Persephone: You're exceptional at leading your team, I'll give you that.

Y/N: Means a lot.

I got ready to intercept Persephone.

3rd POV

Mia was searching through the forest and located Susie up in the tree, aiming. She noticed Mia coming at her. She quickly reacted and drew her pistol and shot at Mia. Mia used a tree as covered and use her gun to shoot back at Susie. Susie avoided and jumped down the tree. Mia used her speed to close in and kicked Susie back before swinging her knife, fitting her arm as she jumped back. A blade came out the handle of her pistol and swung it. Mia was forced to jump away.

Susie: Annoying...

Mia: Me? You're using the trees to hide yourself.

Mia raised her hand and a big fire ball was hovering over her hand.

Mia: If there's no trees to hide in, you won't be able to use them for cover!

Susie shot at Mia. Mia threw down the fire ball in front of her. The blast caused the entire arena to feel the heat of her fire. When the explosion cleared, Mia stood there, holding her gun at Susie, her covered herself from the fire.

Mia: Games over.

Susie smiled as she was looking at Mia.

Susie: You're insane.

Susie raised her pistol.

Mia steadied her breathing. Using her semblance this much was starting to weigh on her. Susie shot at her. She was forced to  jumped to the side. Susie was ahead and shot at Mia again. This time, she got hit in the chest. The staggered down as she shot her gun at Susie. Getting hit in the chest as well. Mia fell to one knee.

Mia: Damnit...

Mia's aura was running low and Mia's stamina was drained.

Susie: It's game over for you.

Susie aimed her gun at Mia again.

Mia: I'll have to leave the rest to my teammates then.

Mia's eyes glowed orange. Her hand was surrounded in fire. Mia used all her strength and punched the ground in front of her.

*BOOM*

An explosion occurred at Mia's action. When the dust cleared both Susie's Aura was below 15% declaring them both unfit for battle.

Blake: Mia and Susie both. Mia sacrifice herself to take her out.

Persephone: Susie...

Persephone looked over at her fallen teammate before back at Y/N. She ran at Y/N. Y/N stepped to the side and elbowed Persephone before kicking her back and drove her claws into her stomach making her fall back. Elias threw his mace at Kira, who jumped to avoid it. Elias ram at Kira and clicked a button to bring the mace back to him. He swung at hit Kira straight on. Kira swung at Elias. Elias got hit twice, before knocking Kira to the side. Kira dodged the mace and kicked Elias backwards. Lena noticed Elias was having trouble. Lena kicked Ray back  and ran to Elias. She swung her katana, making Kira jumped back.

Lena: Having trouble there?

Elias: Thanks for the help.

He gripped his mace. Kira shot at Lena. Lena separated her katanas into 2 and blocked the bullets headed towards her. Elias blocked the swords from Ray and kicked him back. Lena ram at Ray Kira while dodged the bullets. Lena got in close and thrusted both of her katanas forwards, hitting Kira and breaking his aura. Ray jumped back, not allowing Ray's swords to hit him and raised his mace to block him. Elias used his Aerokinesis to create a blast of wind causing Ray to fly back.

Elias: Lena!

Lena ran past Elias and swung one of her katanas down and horizontally attacked with her 2nd katanas. Ray fell backwards but threw her sword at Lena. Lena instinctively raised her arm. Elias threw his mace blocking the sword. Lena saw this and swung her sword down, incapacitating Ray.

Lena: Thanks for that.

Elias: You saved me. It was my turn.

Persephone: Ray and Kira now too?

Y/N ran at Persephone, swinging his claws. Persephone jumped back and kicked Y/N. This made Y/N fall back. Persephone punched Y/N down to the ground. Y/N pushed off his hands and landed on his feet. Persephone ran at Y/N but Y/N was prepared dodging tue fist of Persephone. Y/N swung up with his claw but Persephone caught his arm and knees him in the stomach and punching him back.

Elias: Shouldn't we help him?

Lena: Let Y/N fight. This isn't just a battle. It's a battle between 2 team leaders.

Lena noticed that Y/N was smiling.

Lena: Finish this battle...

Persephone ran at Y/N. Y/N eyes glowed red. Y/N pushed off the ground and hit Persephone's cheek with his claw. Persephone punched down, but Y/N held his hands up. The desert sand started to rumble at Persephone's attack. Y/N's aura was getting low. Persephone appeared behind Y/N and threw her punch. Y/N jumped to the side and kicked Persephone in the stomach and punched her back. Persephone raised her arms to block Y/N's claws and kicked him back. Persephone took this chance to punch Y/N but thanks to Y/N's enhanced speed, he ducked and punch Persephone towards the edge of the arena. Y/N loaded dust into his claws and ran at Persephone. Persephone went to punch Y/N but Y/N narrowly dodged it and ran his claws into her chest. Electricity flowing threw her body. This caught her off guard. Y/N kick her  as she fell off the arena. Y/N fell to his knees and his eyes returned to their normal color.

Professor Port, who was in the booth above, said that Team FLME has won the battle.

Weiss: Y/N did it!

Osana: He really has improved...
