"This is weird" taehyung utters as soon as both best friends settle down on the bench, it was already a break and they were in the cafeteria to get something in their stomach after paying more than required attention in the class but the fact that they were more invested in listening to the other kids gossiping than the ongoing lecture
"what is?" jimin question as he eyes taehyung who was busy playing with his spaghetti while seemingly looking lost, not receiving any answer from the latter he raises his eye brow while following taehyung's actions with his eyes, "are you okay taehyung?" he questions whilst continuing eyeing the guy
"no" taehyung pouts looking at his jimin who had no idea of what the hell was going on in that crazy mind of his
"are you still bothered by jungkook hyung's reputation here?" jimin asks taehyung who reluctantly nods his answer as a 'yes' to his question
All the excitement taehyung had for the college since the beginning was burst when he heard about the rumors of none other than his crush aka jungkook going around, almost all first year students were talking about him.. from his appearance to how good he was in his studies and let's not start with the sports, taehyung was well aware of jimin's cousin since the very beginning well the advantage he had of being his best friend it was.. taehyung was introduced to jungkook by jimin when he newly shifted seoul and since the first day taehyung had seemed to grow a liking in the guy
it was hard for him to tell what he eventually liked in jungkook but all he knew was he no longer had that teeny tiny crush on him but the feelings were now turned into something more stronger also called love, he hated the fact that the students were talking about his looks and body structure sitting right behind him, but those students were also not at fault not like they knew what taehyung felt for that guy
jimin knew about the guy's liking since the beginning and he even helped him to move on by setting him up on some blind dates but all at the end he heard from taehyung was 'i really want to see jungkook hyung'
one of the reasons for taehyung to join this university in the first place was 'i wanna be near jungkook hyung' and when jimin heard this all he did was to tell him to stop putting on his feelings because he knew no matter what taehyung did jungkook was known for his ruined reputation in relationships, jimin had also heard jungkook's pov in this and all the elder said was 'i don't want to hurt anyone but they eventually grow feelings' leaving jungkook with no other option but break their fragile hearts or that's what they accuse him with when lashing out, but jungkook never cared because he had make it clear every time that there will be no feelings involved just the bodies and sex, it wasn't jungkook fault neither, now was it?
"it hurts jimin" taehyung mutters in a quite tone but it was enough for jimin to hear, lifting his face with a finger jimin wipes the tears already escaping taehyung's beautiful black eyes, jimin had no experience in love what so ever he never had that strong kinda feelings for anyone like taehyung held for jungkook though he did had some crush here and there
