After that, we took a stroll down the park to kill off some time. It was snowy outside as well, so I wore the coat that Norman gave me on my 16th birthday.

The air was freezing cold, but I didn't mind at all. The only things I thought about were everything Norman and I should've done, instead of him laying in a hospital. I felt really lonely. But at least the dog was with me, she helps a lot.

The dog stuck her tongue out, wanting water. So I decided to take out a portable bottle and give her some water.

We went towards a bench and sat down for a couple of minutes. I stared at the sky, as snow fell onto my face. I hear children laughing as they play in the snow.

I really wished that I could've done that instead of being bored, feeling like it's been a million days since Norman went into the hospital.

I sighed and continued to walk in the snow.

After a while, I was tired of walking and needed a break so I went to look for a supermarket or somewhere for me to bring some food for me and Wonder.

I ran across the road with Wonder, to the closest supermarket. I took out my wallet and tied Wonder onto a pole then said, "you wait for me here, okay? I'll be back soon."

I went back out with some dog treats for Wonder and a bag of chips for me and slowly sat down on one of the benches nearby.

I gave Wonder her dog treats and she chewed them faster than a cheetah. Boy, she was hungry! I opened my bag of chips and started munching on them. For some reason, they made me feel better.

'I hope Norman's feeling better..' I whisper to myself.

I grabbed Wonder and we started walking. It was a snowy but bright day which would have been a wonderful day if Norman was here with me right now.

As I start walking, I see kids playing in the snow, which brought back memories of how I and Norman used to come here and play... how much fun we had. They were joyful memories, it made me smile just thinking about it.

I remember this one time when we were having a snowball fight and suddenly I tripped in the snow and scraped my knee. As any normal kid I started crying, Norman then came and comforted me and even helped me up. We went to my mom and he got a bandage for my knee. "I miss those times", I said.

I sighed, as the frozen wind slipped beside me as if it was whispering into my ear, Norman is a-ok. My hands go pale as the temperature drops, Wonder leaps up onto my waist, asking for more food as she drools.

"All right all right," I said, as I crouched down, and lent her dog treats, and thought, this will be the longest winter yet...
