I wake up to the smell of breakfast being made, I smile, but before I head downstairs I grab my phone and see

I understood my dad calling but why was Tabari calling he even if I was awake he should have known I wasn't gonna answer.

I call my dad back just so he knew I was ok
Caine: kartier we're are you
Me: hey dad I'm at my best friends house I'm sorry I should have said something before I left
Caine : oh you think you had me worried until I saw ur purse and phone was gone that gave me a little clue that you left on purpose
Me: yeah so sorry about that she came to pick me but it won't happen again

I head to the bathroom to start brushing my teeth then headed downstairs
"Good morning stink"nardo says
"Morning" I say
"Yu sleep good" he ask
"Yeah, breakfast smells good"I say
" and i will taste even better have a seat while I fix yo plate"he tells me

He fixes his and my plate and we both start eating while having small talk about our selfs trying to get to know each other better. By this time it's now 11:00am
"You got any plans today?" He asked
"No but I do need to go back home my dad was worried sick about me"I answered
"Then will you come back"he asked again
"I'm not sure I'll try" I said

He grabs both of our plates and washes them then I head upstairs to grab my bag and he goes outside to start his car. We finally make it to my house I say my goodbyes he says his but he of course had to add a kiss on the check with his. I laughed then left.

As soon as I get in the house I yell " I'm homeeee" hoping my sister is awake and to my surprise she comes running up to me "kartierrrrr" she yells and hugs me.
"Heyyy i missed you so much and guess what im staying with you guys for a while" I say excitedly
"Yayayayayaya" she yells

I go up to my room and for some dumb reason I decide to call tabari back I don't know why I wanna forgive him so bad and I keep making up excuses to why he did what he did. I call him and he answered with in the first ring.
Tabari :hey baby
Me: baby? Last time I checked u broke up with me
Tabari: you knew that won't foreal when you coming back
Me: what do you mean coming back you threw all my shit out and told me to leave so I did
Tabari: oh don't act like I'm the one in the wrong when yo ass cheated on me
Me: for the last time I did not cheat on you and that's part of the reason I'm not coming back you start unnecessary stuff we areeee super done.
Tabari: kartier you know I love you just come home
Me: no

I hang up.
