Rouge looked around the eerie ship in awe, it matched all his favorite things, the dark atmosphere and the goth aesthetic. He flew around the ship, admiring all of the wonderful technology. He couldn't picture humanity making anything like it until decades later.

Mario batted him with their paw again, glaring at him before hissing.'Are you crazy? We should leave before we get KILLED' Rogue was so startled he had to pause the broom from moving.

"I forgot that you could talk..maybe you shouldn't considering how we don't actually know what this place might have in store for us." Mario just glared at him, so the witch added, "Plus I actually have no idea how to get out!"

Zooming through the hallways,he peeked into the huge room that had 2 purple cons and one grey bot. The grey one looked like they could be the leader. He flew closer only to hear Cliff insult the bot to no-means-end. It was kinda funny honestly, Rogue wasn't taking this very seriously. Clearly, the bot didn't find it as funny as he did.

Cliff was met with a hand into his chest where the heart would be on a human. The witch gasped at the sight, what appeared to be robots blood that leaked out of the hole. Cliff fell to the floor. Although Rogue hadn't known him for long, he felt tears well up in his eyes. 'There was his chance to prove himself.' He thought as he fiddled with the broom-handle.

The Grey one seemed barely phased, like this was a thing they did every Tuesday. Turning towards the purple-cons they spoke neatly. "Clean that up." Rogue made up his mind, he didn't like this guy. Or girl. Whatever their gender was, if these robots even had any.

Said purple cons began dragging the most-likely dead body away; they turned around and spotted Rouge. His heart skipped a beat, Mario slapped his face. Just as the ferret's slap collided with his cheek, the cons managed to grab at him. He jeered his broom.

Soaring way out of their hands, he murmured the invisibilly spell. Looking behind him, the cons were still chasing him. He turned towards something that resembled a flight deck. The witch and familiar dashed into the clouds, leaving the con hopelessly staring into the sky. Other cons nearby glanced at them confusedly.

Above the clouds Rouge stumbled and pulled his phone out of his back pocket. 'How the heck did this thing not fall out' he thought, but ignored it. Now was not the time. Checking his phone he noticed that he was farther away than he originally was to Jasper. He heaved in a breath and yelled at the top of his lungs,"Adsurgere!"

Wincing as the broom suddenly went as fast it could have gone, gripping his phone, charting a course. Where too? To the house his mother had purchased for Rogue to go to school in Jasper. They were planning on leaving tomorrow or I guess more like TODAY.

He was so busy flying around and trying to save Cliffjumper, he didn't notice that it was 5:46 in the morning. If he doesn't get home to school soon, he'd end up late to the first day of school. It's not like he could fly there, he'd get caught and risk his entire bloodline! Thoughts of terrifying nightmare scenarios flooded his head.

"Don't worry kid" Mario blurted, reading his mind.

"Your bloodline ends with you."

"Uh.., thanks?" Rogue answered nervously, how was he supposed to answer that?

The red-head dissociated hard, not remembering the remainder of the flight to the house. Once he made it to his new home he checked the time, it was 6:46. He shook his head and touched his forehead in shock, running upstairs and changing into some new clothes.

He was almost done but he was having trouble with putting the shirt due to his pointy ears, it was starting to hurt, he was getting annoyed. He held his ears down, slipping the shirt on. Then he placed his jacket on and grabbed his school stuff.

Donned upon a white shirt with a hoodie-like collar, and a grey apron. Said apron had an orange ribbon tied gently around it, Rogue enjoyed fiddling with it. He had long navy blue shorts that reached his knees, and green combat boots the same color as his gloves. Finally, to be stylish, he had a brown beret and blue sunglasses, just in case.

Proud with his looks, he was prepared to leave. Checking the clock, it was 8:57. He was definitely late now, but he still needed to get to school. He snatched Mario away from his fight with a raccoon and rushed out the door. He ran the entire way, a few blocks away from the school he bonked his head on many trees branches. Causing leaves, twigs and sticks to land into his hair.

When he arrived at the school, panting and sweating, he was told to leave his " Pet" in the front. He managed to convince the security guards that Mario was an emotional support animal. They allowed him to go after showing some papers he forged. Rogue hopped to the principal's office to gain his schedule.

In all honesty, no one wants to read about a school day. So once it finally ended he skipped his way down the sidewalk, bored as ever, not wanting to return to an empty, motherless house. He was alone with his thoughts until his familiar blurted out of nowhere 'If your so bored why don't we go hunting like we used to, you know before your mother-'

Mario wasn't able to finish their sentence, because he was given a death stare from Rouge. One that felt like being pelted by a hundred pebbles and swallowed by a whale. So he stopped, before having to open his big mouth again, 'You're neighbors will begin to get suspicious when they never see a parent, it's a small town, we need to find a bigger one.. or we could hunt some desert animals.'

When the ferret finished speaking, the witch took the moment to listen to the beauty of nature. Leaves rustling, cats meowing, and.. toy car sounds? His ears twitched at the sound. Taking a moment to decide before Mario could do it for him, he followed the sounds. Thanks to this decision, he tumbled down a hill into a ditch under a driveway, aka bridge. Where a tween with spiky hair and glasses the child just stared at him.
