The redhead shook his head around wildly as he looked around for the girl. Combee, not knowing what to do, did the same. Jack seemed to notice that Miko was gone and searched in a daze. Deep down, Rogue knew their panic was worthless, she was gone. "Did she just follow him into the groundbridge?" Jack buzzed.
Raf seemed to sense the others distress and took out his computer, ignoring the teenager's panic, "The coordinates are still in!"
Without a second thought, Jack snatched Rouge's unsuspecting hand, making Mario hiss in indignation. "Raf - start the groundbridge." He stated firmly. Pretending consent doesn't exist for a moment - Jack ran down stairs with Rouge in tow. As the portal formed he paused to look back, "Raf, you're in charge!"
As the human, witch, and familiar were being transported, Rouge could have sworn he saw Raf turn to Combee and say, "In charge of who?" Without any time to teach a gifted kid about how brilliant clowns and jesters are, he averted his attention to Bulkhead's groaning - sick and tired of humans already.
He didn't have enough time to process his surroundings as Jack yelled, "Incoming!" as a group of veidcons left the ship and headed straight towards them. The dark-haired teen hid behind a rock, Rouge and Mario being dragged behind.
"Why the hell are you dragging me into a fucking battle field," the witch breathed in a heavy sigh, "I CAN WALK DUMBASS!" He yelled, trying to get out of Jack's oddly strong grip.
"Rouge, are you trying to die or something!?" Jack parroted, Rouge looked him dead in the eye. "Yes, yes, I am." The teen was visibly worried until he heard Mikos cheery voice. "Come on dude, Jack rabbit here is supposed to be the emo kid here!" She laughed.
Miko and Rouge shared a long-winded-laugh as Jack and Mario rolled their eyes. Mario was the first to notice that the cons had started shooting at them, alerting the kids with multiple fearful squeaks. Jack let go of Rogue as he scurried with Miko into Bulkhead, driving away.
"Uh guys?" Jack whispered nearly silently.
"Yes, Jack?" Asked Bulkhead,
"Where's Rouge?" He sighed, slinking back into his seat.
Miko jumped at the dashboard, "Scrap." She and the bot said in unison. Bulkhead reared around so that he could U Turn, before he could, a con leaped in front of him.
He rushed to let the kids out of the vehicle before he transformed so he could duke it out with the con. Jack and Raf ran away hastily searching for the missing redhead while Miko hid behind some tall black rocks to watch the fight go down.
"You think the con's forgot about us?" Raf peaked behind a cluster of rocks. Behind the rocks stood the teenage boy they had been trying to find. What seemed to be remains of mangled rabbits smeared bloody access across the rocky floor. Upon his hand stood another one, he could almost see life leaving the poor creature's eyes. (He was seriously considering becoming a vegetarian)
Raf looked at Rouge with wide eyes, Rouge copied his motion as he dropped the mauled rabbit on the ground.
"What are you doing?" Raf asked in a small voice as he quietly backed away, Rouge gained his balance back and wiped the streaks blood off his face.
"Raf, can we please just talk about this later?" The witch pathetically murmured while glaring at his familiar.
His counterpart did an awkward thumbs-up, "Yeah.. S-sure."
