The sun shined through your room. Your beautiful e/c eyes opened and lit up because of the light.
A bright smile was on your face as you sat up and stretched yawning from the good night sleep.
You went down the ladder to the kitchen to be greeted by your mother making breakfast.
"Hello my little warrior" your mother said and kissed your cheek
"Morning mama" you said and helped her set the table
"Where's father?" You asked
"He's in the shop, you should go tell him and your siblings breakfast is almost ready." She said and you nodded running out the door
You were greeted by your horse and wonderful animals.
You climbed your house to the roof and called your horse over. When he came you gently got on top and grabbed his hair guiding him. You kicked at his side and he trotted off.
You scoured the big land that you call home and found your older sister at the well.
"Blair!" You called out and she looked to you
"Ah yer finally awake. Yer lucky I let you sleep in." She said
"Sorry sissy, I were reading my book." You said
"Don't be apologizing for getting yer education" she said
"Mama said breakfast is almost ready and to head to the house." You said and Blair nodded
"Alright tell her I almost done" Blair said
Blair was the fairest teen girl in all of Scotland. At least in your towns eyes. Thanks to your mothers amazing looks and your fathers good genes, she was the golden child. You gagged at the amount of boys that kneeled and bowed to your sister. No boy ever wanted you because you could cut off their leg before they even wink at you.
You kicked your horse again and ran to the meat locker to find your brother.
You found your older brother skinning a deer that he hunted and cleaning it for dinner.
"Aww you found a big one!" You said sneaking up on your brother
"Indeed feisty" your brother called you
"When will you stop that name Oliver. I told you bairn was an accident." You said
"Yeah, you cut off his hair and almost made him loose his arm." Oliver said
"He challenged me to a duel, I wasn't gonna go easy!" You said
"You are dads kid" Oliver said
"Breakfast be ready Oliver, mama said come home to eat." You said
"I have to skin this deer" Oliver said
"Fine, I'll just go tell mama you said no to breakfast, you know how she gets when you don't eat." You threatened
Your brother shivered at the thought of your mom angry
"Fine fine I'll skin it later." He said and climbed on your horse
"Oi! Find your own horse" you yelled trying to push him off
"You are too little for him, I don't know why father got you a horse." Oliver said
"Because I do more chores than you and I'm more a man than you!" You said
