Alice by Avril Lavigne started booming from the speakers as you start dancing to it. You felt as if nothing can stop you.
When the song ended there was clapping behind you. When you glanced around the mirror you noticed Riker Lynch standing against the wall.
"You're fantastic. Really you are." He complimented. You blushed and smiled.
When you turned he was walking towards you.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Aileny."
"What a pretty name." He complimented again.
"Sorry to bother you, I just heard the song and I wanted to check it out.
"It's fine! Really."
"We should do that dance competition together if you'd like." Now he was a foot away from you.
"Yeah that would be great! But I'm scared to dance in front of so many people. It's more of a hobby.." You say looking down.
"Well if you don't want to we won't." He said.
"I'll do it." You agreed only because that would mean you would spend time with him.
"So tomorrow? Same time?"
"Sure!" You agreed.
~~Competition day~~
"Great! You came!" He greeted as you walk in the door.
"Well we did practice hard for this."
You really fell for this guy. If either of you messed up, there was no arguments. You kept helping each other. Being with him just made you happy, but you had no idea if he'd ever feel the same way.
"you'll great." He put his hand on your shoulder. You felt a shock of energy run through your body and what you didn't know was that he felt it to.
5 minutes passed and you both were called to the stage.
"Good luck, Riker." You smiled at him.
"Who needs luck if I have you." He hugged you before he walked to the stage.
"Fallin 4 You" started playing through the speakers and he started to dance. When your part came on your came on stage with him and the crowd cheered to see you.
When the dance ended you both ran off stage.
"WE DID IT!" You screamed as you hugged Riker. Butterflies forming in your stomach.
"And now the winners are announced!" The speakers boomed.
Some names were called off and when the first place winners were about to be announced there was a dramatic pause.
"Riker and Aileny!"
You ran on stage together so excited to receive the reward.
You went for a hug but he didn't. His lips gently planted against yours and he pulled back a little to fast.
"Sorry. I just.. sorry." He blushed.
You just smiled at him and kissed him back.
the crowd awed but that didn't matter because you were finally with the one you truly loved.
You finally got Riker.
and Riker finally got you.
