Me and The Devil

Chapter 1

Devils and Angels, one praised while one was feared. They would never be one. They rivaled each other each day it seemed, you couldn't even bring up the other beings without having someone say something bad about them. Everyone was raised to think like that, that they would never be equal and you were a traitor for even thinking so. But a certain angel thought different, he believed there could be a chance they can live in harmony. And that angel was SMG4, the lead protector of the beings in the "living" realm.

"SMG4!!" Cried out Meggy, one of his friends. "What, huh?" SMG4 turned around to face that voice calling for him. "Yes, Meggy?" SMG4 faced her. "I've been looking everywhere for you! Me and Red were getting worried man!" Meggy semi-scolded SMG4 on his reckless behavior towards his friends. SMG4 rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled, "haha sorry...I guess I got distracted by something and lost track of time." Meggy sighed and grabbed 4's wrist. "Yeah yeah, come on! The show is gonna start." Meggy exclaimed, she's been wanting to see this play though SMG4 did understand why. All it was was just them showing why demons and Angels were separated and in 4's opinion, it was a stupid reason why they did.

As SMG4 was lost in thought he hadn't realized Meggy had been dragging him to the theatre and sat him down. "SMG4!!" Mario shouted. SMG4 jumped, startled by Mario's loud voice. "M-mario, not so loud!" SMG4 protested, his ears were ringing and people were starting which made the other 2 embarrassed and turn to Mario. "What?" Mario questioned. They just sighed and looked at the stage. The lights dimmed and a voice came on the speakers.

"Hello my wonderful angels! Welcome to our annual play, "May thy lie." As you know, today marks the great war our guardians have fought to protect man kind, and this marks the day demons and Angels were officially separated." As the voice spoke that line, angels, mainly men, cheered out. SMG4 gave them a disgusted look from afar. "So today, in honors of those, we present you this play to tell our story. Thank you and enjoy."

SMG4 scoffed, our story he thought, what about the demons? We never learned their side, that ain't fair at all. Maybe they are hiding something..

As the play went on, it showed how the 2 leaders from demons and Angels had a conflict about how to treat no comers based on their sins. The Devil said they deserved torture for their sins while the angel said to forgive them and let them learn from those mistakes which this led to everyone fighting about it which led to that dumb war that separated us thousands of years ago. SMG4 hated it, plus they didn't even have actors for the demons, they used poorly made cardboard cut outs of demons which were also poorly drawn on purpose. SMG4 was so sick of this, he had the urge to just scream. How come angles could forgive demons? That was their whole policy, so why was it different with demons? It was only thr leader that had the conflict with, not every demon is like that.

SMG4 was so mad and the play wasn't helping. Soon he had enough and didn't care what others would say at this point, even if it meant he'd lose his status as head protector. He screamed out "Rnough!!" And that was enough for everyone to go complete silent and stare at the angel.
