"Wait... if you're my soul mate, then where the hell have you been? I was so worried there may have been a mistake on the ships survivors lists." Marianne stated. Josiah gave a small chuckle.
"I did survive as you see, we, all of us survivor, went to Pier 54. Those of us with injuries, such as my self, went to the closest hospital which is where I have been since that faithful day. I've been in recovery from an illness as well as a few broken bones. I'm alright now but I remembered I was looking for you. You see, as you can hear from my voice, I'm from England, the smallest part of it at least. I wanted to meet you for so long, ever since I first saw the string on my finger. I'm sorry, this might be a shock, especially with what I can see is a wedding ring. I'm sorry to disturb. I hope he treats you well." Josiah determined, with a sad tone. Marianne looked away in guilt, she always told herself she would save herself for her soul mate, but after six months of looking for him, she gave up. She was so tired but it was what she needed to do to move on. The man she married treated her perfectly but she knows about his affair, which must be what her husbands erran was for this morning. She sighed and looked away. She was going to leave her husband. Yes, it was going to be a struggle but she could do it. It was a crazy idea, it sounded like a bad idea but what else could she do? She wasn't going to stay with someone who was in love with someone else or just wanted sex when she refused to give it to him when her husband wanted it. It's notice children were seen in Mariannes and her soon to be ex-husbandz future anyways. He didn't want them and as his wife, she had to listen.
"He does but he doesn't, I suspect he's with her now but my husband has been having an affair with some gaet down town. It's been happening since we got married almost 6 months ago. I'm leaving him, I don't need to be with someone who treats me this way." Marianne stated. She turned to the writing desk in the corner of ther room, took out a piece of paper and and writing tool and began to write.
My dear husband,
I know about your affair with that harlots from down town, I'm leaving. I do t deserve to be treated l8ke this. I found my soul mate, you know, the person that is on the other side of the string ties around my left ring finger. It's a real thing and suggest you be careful with how you take this. Your father already knows and he's not happy.
With best of luck,
Marianne
She finished writing the letter and went to her room. She was not going to church today. She was leaving the place she once called home with her soon to be ex-husband and she was disappearing from hisufe for good. She wasn't going go deal with this.
"Excuse my rudeness, I forgot to give you my name. I'm Marianne, and I say, we leave now, I'm supposed to head out now to go to church any ways but I think I'll skip church for now." She told him as she came back out with her suit case and everything she wanted to take with her. Her ex-husband and her affair partner can keep everything else.
Josiah smiled and nodded. I have a car outside waiting for us. I was going to ask you to run away from with .e anyways." Josiah said firmly. "It's going to be a good life I think." Marianne nodded at the statement and walked out the door with Josiah right behind her.
