I woke up rather late the next day, just a little after noon. I was still quite exhausted, and I seriously struggled to get up out of bed.
Vik and I got home around 5 this morning, he dropped Harry and JJ off at their apartments first but I was too exhausted to pay proper attention to where they lived. Turns out, I'm 99% sure they were being serious in regards to me actually joining the Sidemen. Vik and I exchanged numbers before I went back to my place but I was already mentally preparing myself. I seriously doubted they'd try contact me again but apart of me held a slimmer of hope.
I took another shower and changed, ready to go to the shops and finally stock up my kitchen. I threw on a graphic tee and flared leggings, but I could not find a pair of socks for the life of me. I took note and tried to remember to grab a pair from one of my suitcases after. I threw on a pair of crocs and left the complex.

There was a small convenience store a couple of blocks down, but without a car I was going to have to walk it. I haven't unpacked many clothes yet so I grabbed the hoodie I forgot to give back to Harry last night and threw it on.
I made it to the store about 20 minutes after walking blind. I didn't even know if it was the same one google showed me but I was happy to get out of the elements regardless. It was small but had a hefty stock of a bit of everything, and my basket began to fill quite quickly.
"Hello there stranger" I spun around in the aisle, my heart racing instantly until my eyes hit two blue ones.
"Harry?" I didn't even have to go over the rest of him to know who those eyes belonged too. I blinked once, then twice, looking at his hair, his nose, then his lips. I felt my stomach churn in excitement.
He moved closer and pulled me into a hug. It felt friendly, but I didn't think I wanted it to be.
"Whatcha doin here then, bit cold to be out and about like that Aye?"
I looked down at my clothing. Sure, from the waist down I felt absolutely nothing but frozen limbs. But I couldn't let him know that.
"I'm totally fine" I said with a cheesy grin.
He looked at me with comically skeptical eyes and I laughed out loud, my cheeks warming.
"Still have my hoodie I see, very nice"
"Would you like it back?" I asked while putting my basket besides my feet. I went to pull the jumper over my head but he stopped me.
"No no you goose, you need it way more then I do"
"Oh"
"Besides, looks well fit on you then it did me, do you model?"
My cheeks flushed "w-what? No, I've never even thought about modelling"
"Oh, well you should. Has Josh called you yet? Y'know, about the job?"
"Josh? Uh no, Vik and I exchanged numbers last night but I haven't gotten anything since"
"Oh, they were just talking about you" he paused and reached for his phone, his fingers tapping away.
"What's your number?" He asked, I raised one eyebrow.
"N-not for me, obviously I'm not that daft. I'll put you in our group chat, Vik must've forgotten"
Harry's cheeks grew noticeably red and I smiled down at my feet. After reciting my phone number off the top of my head, he followed me to the cashier.
After my groceries were bagged and paid for, my phone began vibrating in my pocket like crazy.
"Is that the guys?" I asked Harry even though I already knew the answer.
