"I want you to please be careful when going to school," Emmett says

" I will" I assure him

He gives me a kiss before waving me off.

It sucks that I can't go to classes with him and spend time with him and the others at lunch. But today is really sunny so I can't be with my boyfriend till after school.

school seemed to drag slowly by. The only thing that seemed of importance was the talk of prom which I can't tell you the number of times I've rolled my eyes hearing the same shit about dress shopping and who is going with who.

When the last bell rang I practically high-tailed it out of there I had already grabbed my helmet and backpack before my last class so I had no reason to stop by my locker.

after fastening my helmet, kicking up the kickstand, and switching on my bike I pulled out of the lot and left that drama place behind for the day.

in between classes one of the guys would come up and ask me if I would go with them to prom. and as I had told the ones before No. I told them as well before I headed off to where I was needing to go.

Now here I am sitting in Emmett's jeep telling him what had happened today and how I was already done with the remainder of school.

he thought it was funny how I had told him about me rolling my eyes and finding the whole prom talk to be overrated and boring subject.

" I think I better ask you to prom before another human tries it" he says

I looked at him

"you really wanna go?" I asked

"its one of the big things I'll experience with you while you are human" he says

"yeah but if I ever change and we have to attend school wouldn't we go then?" I asked

"possibly," he says

"Alright. I'll make you a deal" I say

"I'm listening," he says

"We go to prom but you and only you come with me dress shopping. then you and I go to my place and fuck" I say

"hell yeah" he says 

I offer my hand and he shakes it.

"its a deal," I say

"hell yeah it is" he says

I leaned over and gave him a kiss before we headed back to the Cullens since he had taken me somewhere for us to talk with no advance hearing vampires nearby.

When the girls found out that I was only wanting to go dress shopping with Emmett they pouted but said they'd tag along and go to a different boutique.

so we set a day to go and then went about our day.
