t - 5 minutes

~confusion~

walking into the hall you both look around to see a lot of metal pipes and mechanical gear. "what is all of this ?" leon asks but you look at him just as confused as he is. "whatever it is we need to move forward, and fast." you move forward with a purpose, gun drawn and ready for anything that comes your way. leon follows behind you. "are we going to talk about what just happened ?" he asks you confused. you don't look at him keeping your eyes forward but you cheeks instantly get warm thinking about the rationality of what you just did. before you can even think of a response leon speaks up again breaking the silence. "cause i wouldn't mind doing it again, i've never had a girl as pretty as you make the first move." he nervously chuckles. your cheeks become a billion degrees warmer at his comment. now that you were thinking about it, you've never made the first move, like ever. let alone on someone as attractive as leon. you finally manage to respond. "well if we make it out of here, and you take me to dinner then maybe i'll make the first move again." you laugh a little turning to look at him. his cheeks were redder than yours which makes you feel a little better. "well now we definitely have to make it out of this." he says you begin to respond but before you can you both hear a loud groaning followed by heavy and unsteady footsteps. you whisper to leon. "what the fuck is that-" before he can respond the creature comes into view and it's moving fast towards you. "y/n ! get behind me ! now !" leon yells. before you get the chance to move the creature runs up and grabs you. you start to scream and stab it's arm but to no avail. it starts slamming you into the metal flooring. you cry out in pain feeling a hot sting throughout your whole body, your head pounding.

the floor finally gives way and you fall, the creature finally releasing its grasp on you. you roll over trying to gather yourself quickly before the monster has time to attack again. leon jumps down to you shielding you while shooting at the creature. "y/n are you okay ?!" he yells back to you. you can't gather the energy to respond before the monster comes back with a vengeance. it slashes at leon who just barely moved out of the way in time pulling you with him. leon then picks you up and starts running to create more of a distance between you and the monster. he sets you down and runs off to fight the monster again. you do your best to pull yourself together to help him. you grab your shotgun and a grenade before making your way to leon. you finally get to them and start shooting at the creature with leon. "y/n what are you doing ? get out of here it's not safe !" he pleads with you. "fuck no leon i'm not letting you die on me !" you yell back to him falling back a little to reload your shotgun. you shoot it a few more times before throwing your grenade at the monster. the thing yells out in pain before falling off the ledge. you both turn around to see a ladder fall then look back at each other. "well that's interesting timing." you say between heavy breaths.

leon moves toward you and pulls you into a tight hug, placing his hand on your head. "y/n i thought you were going to die." he says softly, sounding like he was choking back tears. you don't pull away from him, instead you hold him tighter. "you ? i thought i was going to die." you say kinda laughing hoping to lighten the mood a little, after all you didn't want to see him start crying, especially over you. he lifts your head making you look at him. before you can say anything he kisses you again but this time a lot deeper than last time. you're taken back by just how passionate the kiss was but you don't hesitate to match the passion. you pull away from him slowly knowing this definitely isn't the safest place to start making out. you look at him and smile before saying. " i thought we were waiting on dinner before doing that again ?" he laughs and looks away putting his hand behind his head. "well if you didn't like it you could have said so." you lean up and kiss his cheek before saying "now i never said that, come on we've got to find a way out remember ?" he looks at you and smiles. "yeah, you're right. but from now on you stay behind me. i can't have you getting hurt again." you nod and let him take the lead. "i wouldn't want you trying to look at my ass going up the ladder anyways." you laugh while he turns beet red. 'i wasn't going to do that !" he says, which just makes you laugh more. "come on rookie get a move on." he makes his way over to the ladder with you not to far behind him.

he makes it to the top of the ladder which has a cover on it that he quickly removes, scoping the area out for anymore monsters that could be lurking. he makes it off the ladder and out stretches his hand to help you up which you happily take and make it to the top closing the hatch behind you. you both scope out the area more walking towards the parking garages door lock. "shit, looks like we need a keycard to get out of here." leon says. as soon as he finishes his sentence you're both jumped by what looks like dogs but they definitely aren't alive anymore.
