"Another early morning training day; I got to be up before the royal family and have to do normal basic training." That is what was going on in Amara's head right now as she put on a black tank top and long black workout leggings—tying her black combat boots as she headed out of her room and downstairs, outside in the training area.

Let's catch the readers here up to speed, and we are in the modern world time, 2000..something. But, of course, the year doesn't matter now; you must understand that we still live in a world with Kings and Queens—giant castles.

Amara was outside doing her regular warmups, getting ready for the day. This was a routine that she had followed and one that was shoved inside her skull ever since she was little because of her father..The commander of knights; she had a duty, the duty to uphold their family name. Lucky for her, she was still the top best. Which is why she was given to the royal family, the Holloways, to protect them but mainly the Princess...Princess Kianna, and man was she a pain in Amara's ass..spoiled brat is what she is, honestly..not following the rules..always sneaking out and going to parties when she is supposed to be in bed. But nope, Princess Kianna loves to tease and try to get Amara in trouble. Just thinking about Princess Kianna sneaking out again made Amara upset and not focus on her warmup. Luckily, she had a good view of the Princess's window..her opened window. "Damnit.." Amara mutters under her breath as she looks up two stories and sees the Princess's window open. As she grumbles to herself, she walks over to the window. Looking up still, putting her hands on his hips as she calls out, "Princess Kianna?"

"Shit," Kianna mumbled as she stood up from behind the nearest bush facing Amara. "Hey, Amara." Princess Kianna enjoyed many things in life. As stated before, she enjoyed spending time with her parents, writing, and mainly sneaking out and attending parties. She had participated in parties since high school and continued to do so into her adult years without her parents ever knowing. That was until they decided that their daughter needed her protection. Since Amara came into her life, Kianna has had trouble sneaking off to parties. Of course, she would always be successful in the end, but every time she snuck out, Amara kept getting closer and closer to catching her. Generally, with the other staff, she would pretend and lie that she was going somewhere else, but with Amara, it was always challenging. Realizing this, Kianna made sneaking out a bit more fun. The things she did to get Amara in trouble were just ways to distract her, and the teasing was just her way of flustering Amara, which she enjoyed doing for many reasons. Looking Amara in the face now, she realized it was too late to do much that would distract her, so now she knew she had to find a new way to make this "escape plan" continue. "I know what this looks like..and it's exactly that."

Amara looked over at the bush, sighing with a slight head shake. "Princess..." she gently pinched the bridge of her nose. "Princess, this will probably make me sound like a broken record, but what the hell do you think you are doing? In a bush? At 6:00 in the morning?" Amara asked, as this shit was usual, honestly. Last time she caught Kianna in a tree, trying to leave her bedroom.

Kianna thought for a moment. If she wanted a chance to leave, she had to act fast. "Well. I just.." She quickly looked back at Amara, and an idea came to mind. "I was just coming out to see you. I know you're always training around this time, and my parents would never allow me to watch you or the other knights train out of fear of me possibly getting hurt, so I just got up extra early to see you train. That's all."

Amara crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. "You wanna see me? Last time you saw me, you yelled at me, telling me to go away and that you hate me." She says as she walks over to Kianna, her arms still crossed. "You are the worst liar; you know that, right?"

Kianna crossed her arms and released a fake gasp type shock. "I am not a bad liar. I'm being sincere." She says as she looks Amara up and down. "You look perfect for someone so sweaty at 6:00 in the morning~."
