the hardest goodbye

Chapter 6

As soon as I said that, i could see the shock on Sarawat's face as he balled his eyes out. I gave him a small smile which made him come out of his trance. He wrapped a jacket around my shoulders and then we headed towards my apartment. We did not talk much on the way because we both were hesistant to talk and we soon reached home. On the main gate of my apartment I thanked him and he blushed a bit. I was shy too as I couldnt deny but he looked handsome up so close. So I simply bowed and ran inside. I hurriedly reached my room and closed the door. I couldn't think anything because my heart was beating so fast.

Why was I feeling this way?? Why was I feeling attracted towards him?

I cannot feel this way!!! I was thinking about all this when P'Type brought me out of my trance

"Ayooo! What you doing at the door?? Come inside"

"Huh?" "What?"

"I said come inside, what you doing at the door?"

"Y-yeah, just, nothing."

"Go change fast, I am putting dinner. I am really hungry"

Tine went to his room, changed his clothes and came for dinner
Type was constantly trying to talk to him, ask him things but he failed. Tine was not willing to speak because he was still not over the plethora of emotions he felt in the morning and just wanted to sleep

He finished and was going back to his room when Type  stopped him.

"What now?" Tine asked
"What happened Tine? You don't seem okay? I can't see you like this. Talk to me please."

"Phi, please, I am fine. Don't start now. I am too tired."

"I know you are tired and I am tired too but you know right we don't have anyone else apart from each other. I don't expect Mom and dad to be there for us anymore, they are so much occupied in their own world but I want you to be here with me and I want to be there for you equally, so please don't shut me out Tine."

Tine could see Type on verge of tears and he didn't want his brother to be like this. What's his brother's fault in all this anyway. So he hugged him and calmed him down.

"I am sorry phi. I didn't want you to be like this. It's just you know what I feel sometimes and I just can't seem to get over those things."

"Tine, I understand it but don't you think that it's a long time since that thing happened. I am sure Win wouldn't like you being this way. He must want you to be happy and at peace. Not for anyone but for Win's sake forgot whatever happened and bring back that cheerful Win. Please?"

Tine was speechless after listening to all that. For Win, he could do anything. He himself didn't like being like this, so maybe it's time he moves on.

After that heartfelt talk with Type, Tine went back to his room and somehow he felt less burdened. His heart felt light. His mind was relaxed, maybe because after so long, he talked to his brother and shared his pain.

The next morning, Tine was in a good mood. He felt happy and this made Type super good. It felt good to see his brother like this again.

"I am going to college Type, see you in the evening!"

"Ai Tine, waittt!!!"

"What happened?"

"Just wanted to hug you and say Take care of my brother, okay?"

"Phiii, you so cringeeee. EW!!!"

"Hahaha, what can I do when I just have one brother?" Both of them laughed hard and Tine headed towards college
