The news that the Sullys had another sister left me bewildered. What more are they hiding from my people if they can keep the kidnapping of their own sister a secret? Mr. Sully shouldn't force them to forget their sister, so it makes no sense for him to attempt it. The exchange just now between Neteyam and Loak proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he has never liked the idea. I was going to inquire about her, but then I heard horns and realized that they were on their way. It's safe to assume that warriors from the opposing tribe showed up. I sprinted toward the swelling crowd and made my way to the front with little difficulty.

My dad always made a point of striding proudly to meet Navi whenever they came to visit. I was too morally compelled to go back to Sully's house and question them about this mysterious sister to pay any attention. But then I spotted a deeper blue Navi hiding behind another reef Navi, apparently attempting to avoid the scrutiny of the other Navi. She's awfully pretty for a forest freak. Whether she is their sister or merely another Navi stolen by the sky people is a mystery to me. My hair stood on end as I was shoved aside and startled out of my thoughts. This really bothered me because, who the hell do they think they are, anyway? I had already recognized Loak and Kirri before I could even yell. When she started crying, they comforted her. That question is now answered; she is, in fact, their sister.

When I told my father about their mysterious sister, he gave me the same expression I had on my face before. Mr. and Mrs. Sully, having dried their eyes, joined in the group embrace. By this time, only Tsireya, my parents, and I were still present, along with a small group of curious Navi. The crowd and the warriors had long since dispersed.

My mother asked, "What is this?" in apparent confusion.

Mr. Sully jumped to his feet and redirected his attention to my parents. "I realize this sounds strange, but I had to keep something from you in order to keep my family safe. This is our daughter, who has spent the last two years in the clutches of the sky people. Since I was certain she was dead, I forbade those I cared about from bringing up her name in the hopes that it would allow us to move on. If it's possible, let her stay with us." Jake replies with desperate looks directed at my parents.

My parents gave each other long, thoughtful looks before finally accepting her into the clan. The others stand up, and I steal a glance at the lady in the group. She's stunning, but her lack of weight and plenty of scars and bruises indicate that she has been through a lot. Her ears droop, and she hides behind Neytiri as soon as she spots me looking. The women wrap their arms around the girl and carry her back to the house. The more I think about her, the more questions I have about her. Not only did I want to know what she was into and how old she was, but also why she had been taken.
