I was with Leia and Jay as we were walking into the kitchen. Jay was wearing a white tank top, and a yellow mustard vest that showed off his toned biceps.
"Hey, me and my friends are going to the lake." Jay and I paused when Mr. Forman pointed a finger at the two of us.
"Who are they?" Leia looks at me and I looked back at Mr. Forman.
"Cassidy Hyde." Both Kitty and Red stopped and looked at me.
"You're Steven Hyde's daughter?" I nodded my head, as I started to feel nervous.
"I-I've been staying across the street. Dad got arrested, again so it's just me and I stayed with Carrie with her two kids. Sometimes I stay with the Kelso's." I stuttered out, feeling embarrassed to admit who my father was.
"It's happening again, Kitty!" I heard Red Forman announce as the three of us looked at each other.
"See you met my boy here. Look at this guy. Look at him." Mr. Kelso said as he was proud of his only son.
"A Hyde dating a Kelso, never thought I'd see the day." Kitty Forman does her nervous laughter as she was trying to lighten the room.
"Straight A's last year. Cass helped me through most of it, though." I hummed in approval as he gave me some credit.
"Yep, one day M.I.T will take me in." I did a little dance as I spoke, bumping my side with Jay's.
"Sweet Lord, it's evolving! I feel like I've time traveled!" I looked at Mr.Forman with a confused look as he was talking about my father and Leia's father's teenage years.
"Hey, you kids have fun now, okay? And remember if you jump off that cliff, do it naked!" I slapped my hand to cover my face as I buried my face into Jay's bicep.
"Oh God no!" I exclaimed, but knowing I'll keep the idea in mind for later.
"Hello, Michael." Mrs. Forman said to Mr. Kelso.
"Hey, girl." I rolled my eyes at the infamous Kelso pick up line. Mrs. Forman got all blushy, and nervous as she did her giggle once again.
"You need a new pick up line." I whispered in Jay's ear as he placed an offended hand on his chest.
"Usually that line works!" I shook my head, and mouthed no. I patted his back as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"So, you two. We need to have a Lil chit-chat." Kelso said pointing at me and Jay.
"You're not allowed to stay over when me and Jackir aren't home. After the last attempt, I think it's safe to say that you two should find a better way to sneak in at night." Kelso said pointedly at the two of us.
"You really are a Hyde, aren't you?" I laughed nervously as I stared at Mr. Forman.
"I mean, I guess you could say that, though I've never met the man before." I said with a shrug.
"Michael. Let's go!" I heard Jackie Kelso shout as she came strutting into the house. She was wearing a white skirt, with a matching white blazer.
"Hi, Mrs. Kelso!" I greeted, as she gave me a warm smile.
"Hey Cas." She greets, her attitude changing from a tantrum to a nicer tone.
"White honey? Really?" I let out a snort as I felt Jay wrap his arm around my waist.
"It's before Labor day!" She says making an excuse.
"And if people think it's our first time, we'll get better gifts." Cassie couldn't help the smirk forming as she compressed her laughter.
"Oh! FYI, we're registered at Bloomingdale's." Mrs. Kelso said, as Cassie shakes her head at the older woman.
"Let's go Michael!" Jackie shouted from outside the slide doors where the driveway was.

"I am heading to the market. I am getting tostitos, fritos, domino's. All the 'ios." Mrs. Forman was excited, everyone could tell she missed having kids hanging around the house, and now that Leia Forman was staying for the summer, everything is going to be different. But it's a good difference.

  "I am back baby!"
"Son of a bitch!" Mr. Forman on the other hand seemed to be less enthusiastic about having kids again. Especially with history repeating itself in the Forman house.
"You seem happy." Cassie said, slapping a hand on the older man's arms with a grin. Chills ran up the older man's spine, you could see how much Cassie resembles her father. How she has his smirking lips, and his red curly locks.
She even wore the same band t-shirts as Steven Hyde, and metal rings on her fingers. She has electric blue eyes, her cheeks are a peachy pink. She even had her father's attitude, even if she wasn't around her father as much as she'd wished. He was always getting into trouble, as he took after his father, no matter how much Kitty and Red did for him, he had ruined his life.
   "Ecstatic." Red replied sarcastically.
"I feel like you'll like me, Red. I mean, my dad did grow up with Foreman, and well me and Leia will be best friends. You're gonna love me!" She gives the man a hug as he tries to swat her away.

"Not a hugger, got it!" She snaps her fingers and makes fake guns with her hands and points them at Red, with a click of her tongue.

Jay took Cassie's hand and dragged her away from the older man. She followed willingly as they were leaving the old man alone.

Time skip. . .

"My grandparents said we could hang down here as much as we want." Leia said.
Cassie held onto Jay's hand as they were going down the stairs.
"So, my dad and your dad used to hang down here all the time?" Cassidy asked Leia.
"Yea." Leia answered, as the two girls were excited for their summer to begin and for their friendship to grow stronger.
"Lights on, shirts on, and no dancing." Cassie snorts.
"So it's basically gonna be like footloose." The red head points out.
"Babe, you can fit three of your basements in this basement." Nikki said to Nate.
"That sounds like a lot of work Nik." Nate said.
    "Let's just use this basement."
"Don't you love all this old furniture?" Gwen said referring to the tan couch that was in the middle of the basement with a few beach chairs that sat beside the chairs.
Cassie was the first to sit in the same chair her father sat in and threw her feet on the coffee table with a smirk on her lips. Cassidy's smirk fell slightly when she noticed the look on Red and Kitty's face, as if they've seen a ghost.
Cassie noticed Gwen was holding a basket of old things from their past. Cassie noticed a pair of sunglasses and grabbed them.
Cassidy puts them on and she taps on Ozzie's knee.
"How do I look?" She asked, giving Ozzie a smile.
"Ridiculous." Cassidy rolls her eyes, but he couldn't see them over the sunglasses.
"Aren't those the same one your dad used to wear, you know the ones in the pictures that mom has?" Cassidy shrugged, as she didn't know much about her father. She's barely met him, she doesn't know who he was, and he didn't want to. All she knew were tales of her father.
"Dunno, but I'm taking them." Cassidy continues to have the sunglasses on as she notices Jay was staring at her.
Cassie smiles at him with amusement. Jay goes around the couch and heads towards the freezer.
"Popsicles! Who wants one?" Cassie was quick to jump out of her seat and skip to Jay to grab the orange popsicle.
"Don't mind if I do." She gives Jay a sweet kiss on the cheek as she opens the wrapper and puts the popsicle in her mouth.

"No way." Cassidy stopped looking through the cassette tapes when Gwen caught her attention.
"No way." Cassidy repeated as Gwen had a brown paper bag of weed in her hands.
"Dude, we have to smoke this! I already knew this had to be my father's hidden stash." Cassidy said, as she was standing where Gwen was on the other side of the couch.
Gwen and Cassidy already had the idea. They formed a circle by the round table and they each took turns taking hits of the Marijuana.
Cassidy sat in Jay's lap with her arms wrapped around his shoulders, his hands were around her waist.
Cassidy was laughing, then she stopped, and laughed again.
"Dude, I can't believe my dad was able to hide his stash from them. Especially from Red dude, he's such a hard ass." Cassidy snorted as she spoke.
"I know dude, I can't believe it either!" Leia said.
"This is definitely going to be the best summer ever." Leia said, as Cassie agreed.
