!Conan's POV!

"Nee nee Ran-neechan!"

I called out to Ran who got out of her room. She turned her attention to me.

"Yes Conan-kun?"

"I wanna see Atsushi-niisan again! He's fun!"

I only said that to make a distraction. To be honest, I don't even memorize the way to the agency because I was zoning out too much the first time I got there.

And the apartment we are currently living on right now is the opposite direction to where Kunikida-san's dorm was.

Practically, I have no idea how to get there.

"I don't think we can see him though. He must be busy today and plus, we don't know where he is."

"Ok..."

I said with a "sad" tone.

"But we can go back to the park! In case he might be there again!"

I looked up to Ran who had a bright face.

"Yayyy!!! I can see Atsushi-niisan again!!"

I pretended to be happy as I heard Ran chuckle.

"We can go now if you want?"

"Mhm!"

I ended up dragging Ran to the park.

To be honest, I have no idea why I'm doing this. Probably because I have a feeling something different will happen today.

"Conan-kun don't go running around too much!"

"Hai..."

Then I decided to go to a swing. I saw Ran on the phone, probably talking with someone.

Suddenly, a man wearing a hat approached me.

"Hey kid."

I looked over to my side to see a man with orange hair and wearing fancy clothes.

'He seems suspicious... but as a small kid, I should talk back.'

I thought then mentally breathed.

"Haiii!"

I saw him slightly smirk.

"Can you give this to an adult you know?"

He handed me a paper and I just took it. I never realized the words written on it.

As I inspected the paper, I felt a loud gush of wind blow past me.

I looked up and noticed the man was... gone...

'H-how did he get away so quick–?!'

I thought as I stood from the swing, Ran walking to me in the process.

"Conan-kun!— oh what's that paper?"

"Oh! I think I should give it to you."

I handed Ran the paper as she started to inspect it. Then I noticed her eyes get big.

"Conan-kun where did you get this...?"

Ran asked me as I started to describe the man.

"A man who has orange hair and fancy hat gave me that! He told me to give it to an adult that I know."

Ran then slowly turned to the paper once again.

"But it says here... To Nakajima Atsushi..."

'What.... how did I not!—'

"R-Ran-neechan! We have to get to the agency now!"

I took the paper from her then started running away as she followed me.

'Dang it... how come I never realized that?! Come on! Remember the way to the agency, remember the way to the agency!'

I keep making sharp turns then I noticed a familiar tall building.

'The... the agency!'

I breathed then rushed inside. Knocking intensily on the door really made someone open the door quickly.

"Who is it–?! Eh? Aren't you... Conan? W-what are you doing here kid—"

"Is... Is Atsushi-niisan inside?!"

"A-Atsushi-kun? Y-yeah he's inside.."

I fit myself on the small space under the guy as I rushed for Atsushi inside.

"Atsushi-niisan!"

I yelled as everyones attention turned to me. I panted in front of the said guy.

"C-Conan-kun–?! What are you doing here?!"

He freaked out as I handed him the paper I was holding onto the whole time.

"Someone... gave me this and... it had... your name on it..."

He inspected the paper then opened it. His eyes went big.

"From Port Mafia Executive, Nakahara Chuuya."

He read the last part out loud.

That caught Atsushi-niisan's mentor (base on my observation the last time I stayed here)

"Chuuya you say? He sent you that letter Conan-kun? And it had Atsushi-kun's name?"

I looked up to him and nodded. I heard him slightly click his tongue.

'What could this Nakahara Chuuya person be like?'
