Chapter 10

As the next day fall in, Cass is in the mood of running her pride in joy of a cafe as usual. But this time she's kinda excited a little about something. Excited to meet her 'friend', Lennox Louis even though she's said there's nothing between him and her(Denial).

She does her usual errands of the cafe. Taking care of the cafe and customers perfectly. She's even humming happily while wiping the counter. Sayaka that watching her the entire time just smirks.

"Say, someone's feeling a little happy today. I wonder why~" tease Sayaka. Cass just roll her eyes while smiles. Sayaka just grinning more.

"I knew it! I knew you had someone in mind! You can't trick me, Cass. I've known you a long enough to know you like a open book. Let me guess, Mr. Hunky guy, Lennox, right?". Cass's smile grew bigger but tries to hide it. "Bingo!". "It's not what you think okay? There's nothing between me and him. We're just friends". Then she pretends to be busy at the one of the table to wipe it.

Sayaka smiles. "Why did i sense that someone is in denial~?". Cass looks at her " well because it isn't. I like him as a friend. That's it!". "Well if you say so. But don't come to me if your 'friend' get snatched by someone else~" tease Sayaka. Cass just rolls her eyes.

Then the Lucky Cat Cafe bell rings.

Cass is just ready to greet her incoming customer. A muscular guy with a distinct silhouette that Cass knows too well is entering the cafe made Cass smiling with happiness in her heart. But that smile is being crushed by the entrance of a woman shortly after him.

Her expression turns from happy to shock after seeing Lennox with another woman. The woman is taller than her with a slick purple hair, matching with her mascara. Her fashion is quite bizarre but not too extreme. Sayaka just smile seeing the funny scene Infront of her.

Lennox sits at the usual table followed by Isabella facing him. Cass comes to their table to take their order. "Hi Cass" greets Lennox with a smile. Cass just nod at him. "Anything you want?" She said without smiling at all. Lennox just confused a little by her new behaviour. But he still ignores it.

" I would like to have a chocolate cake with a side of macaron. An ice coffee for the beverage. Cass just 'hmmm' her and she turns to Lennox. "Strawberry vanilla cake with a plate of strawberry donuts and usual latte please. Cass replies 'hmm' with dead expression.

Lennox is still confuse on her changed attitude this morning. He expected that she would be more 'Cass'.

After a moment, Cass comes to them with their ordered food and beverages. She puts down the plate in front of them, "Enjoy". "Thanks" the lady thank her just to be ignored by Cass.

Curiosity gets the best of him and he decided to ask her what's wrong with her but he waits until they finish the food. After they finish the food, Isabella is heading to the restroom. He take the chance to ask her.

"Hey Cass. I noticed that you seems... grumpy this morning. Is everything alright"ask him. "Nothing. I'm fine" replies her short. " Well you don't look fine. The usual fun Cass disappears this morning. I wonder what happen?" Still determined to ask her.

"Seriously, im fine. Maybe because i accidentally put the sugar into the salt jar and that's probably why your coffe taste salty a little (she just makes up the story).

"Oh. Well , if that's the case, alright. Thanks for the food". He put the money and left. Isabella also pays the money and left. Cass just watch them with typical 'jealous before everything' eyes. Then she look at Sayaka that look straight into her eyes with grinning deviously.

"What!?"
