(Oakley's p.o.v)

It had been a couples

mouths since I was claimed by Keian and it was the summer holidays. I had seen

Luke around which meant Taylor was in the woods. I was sitting on the pool

side, my feet in the water, turning it a little slushy. My new best friends,

Lizzy and Samantha, Shaun's mate, were trying to stay cool, in their cute

swimming customs, they dragged me out ot buy yesterday, while I was in swimming

trucks and a hoodie. I couldn't remember a time my body tempter was above

freezing.

 "Why is it so hot!?" Lizzy complained for the

one thousand times. "I'm going for a swim" she said getting up.

"Oakley, why don't you go

fully in" Samantha said whipping her long hair into a ponytail. She was staring

down at so

"I Can't, I'll freeze the

pool" I said matter of factly.

"You Germans are sure

blunt" Lizzy said jumping in and she came up gasping for air. "Jesus Christ,

that is freezing" she said smiling.

"You're welcome" I said

kicking the very cold water at her. She slashed water back and I froze it

before it hit me. It fell into the pool, now a block of ice. I heard the siding

doors open and I saw Shaun.

"Hey bub, there is a phone

call for you inside and I wanted to see Samantha, so go in and get it. I think

the guy is German, have you got any idea who it's from" he asked. I shook my

head and took the phone.

"Hallo" [Hello] I said.

"Oakley, you listen

closely" the man said in German. "I want you to listen to my orders and follow

them, if you don't your family, mate and pack will burn to the ground and I'll

make you watch" I froze in my step. I stood up straight.

"Who are you and what do

you want?" I said in German.

"Me, no one important, I

want you to go walk into the forest about 100 meters, alone, there will be a

clearing with a rock in the middle or else but I don't care if they notice you"

he said. His voice showed that he was not joking around.

"Very well" I hang up and

dropped the phone on the grass and walked into the woods in front of me.

"Where are you going

Oakley?" I heard Lizzy asked. I didn't answer, I just bolted. I knew I was

faster than any of them, so it didn't matter.

I saw the clearing and I

stepped into it. There was no one there.
