The night was cold as Mint Choco walked back to his house after a performance. He lived in a small town, so small that everyone basically knew everyone. Not far from the town was a forest. The townspeople have called it The Forbidden Forest. No one dares to enter it. Cookies told stories about a vampire king who lives in the forest and said it kills anything it sees.

Mint Choco doesn't believe the stories. He thinks it's just to get kids to stay out of the forest. Parents are like that, telling scary stories to keep their kids out of danger. Although he doesn't believe that there really is a vampire king, he still stays away from the forest.

Once Mint Choco arrived home, he opened the door and took his shoes off. He closed the door and walked to his bedroom. Mint Choco set down his violin case and walked to his bed. He plopped on his bed and sighed. Oh, how he was exhausted. As Mint Choco was half on his bed and half on the floor, he was quickly taken by sleep.

Mint Choco woke up, and it was morning. He was in his bed, covered up, and in his pajamas. He doesn't remember changing and actually getting in bed. Or was he too tired to remember? Either way, Mint Choco sat up and stretched before getting off his bed and going to the bathroom. After he used the bathroom, he went to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Mint Choco went to make himself coffee. He noticed there were more cups in the cabinet and fewer dishes in the sink. Did he wash the dishes yesterday? Gosh, he's so tired that he's confusing himself. When he went to his coffee pot to make coffee, he noticed that it was already set up, and he just needed to let it brew.

He definitely didn't do that. He knows he didn't. This was starting to freak him out. He looked more around his house and noticed the changes he obviously didn't make. Washed dishes, folded laundry, and cleaned furniture. It freaked him out. Nothing was stolen, just cleaned and organized.

"Do I have a stalker?" Mint Choco asked himself.

He checked his windows and doors, and they were all locked. Except for his bedroom window. He quickly locked the window and changed out of his pajamas.

Mint Choco rushed to his front door, put his shoes on, and left his house. He rushed over to a different house and knocked. The door opened to reveal a tired blonde cookie.

"Mint Choco? What's wrong?" The cookie was still in his pajamas.

"Sparkling, can I talk to you?" Mint Choco asked.

"Yeah, sure, come on in," Sparkling yawned and allowed Mint Choco to enter.

Mint Choco quickly went inside and took his shoes off. Sparkling noticed Mint Choco's uneasiness and brought him to his living room.

"Mint, what's wrong? You look uneasy," Sparkling asked.

"I think someone or something was in my house when I was asleep last night," Mint Choco said.

"Oh dear, what makes you think that?" Sparkling asked.

"This morning, I woke up in my bed in my pajamas, but last night I didn't change or actually get in, or at least I think I didn't. Then I went to make my coffee but it was already set up. Nothing was stolen just who or whatever was in my house cleaned it," Mint Choco explained.

"That's creepy," Sparkling said.

"I really hope I don't have a stalker," Mint Choco mumbled.

"Do you want to call the police?" Sparkling asked.

"No, they probably wouldn't even find anything to begin with, I don't have cameras in my house or anything," Mint Choco said.

"Well, jeez, I don't know what to say," Sparkling said.

"Neither do I. What should I do?" Mint Choco asked.

"Well, maybe get those motion-activated cameras to find out who or what came inside your house last night," Sparkling suggested.

"Ok," Mint Choco said.

"Do you want coffee? You look tired," Sparkling offered.

"Yeah, I haven't had coffee yet. Who knows if something was put in the coffee grounds or water," Mint Choco said.

"Ok, I'll get you a cup of coffee," Sparkling said.

Mint Choco sat on the couch, and soon, Sparkling returned with two cups of coffee. Mint Choco thanked him and sipped the coffee. Sparkling went to his room to change, and once they finished their coffee, they went to visit another friend.

The two arrived at a flower shop and entered. The door's chime chimed, and a cookie greeted them.

"Hello, welcome to Sapling's Home," a friendly voice called.

"Hey Herb," Sparkling started.

"Oh, Sparkling, Mint Choco? What brings you two here? Wanna raise a plant friend?" Herb asked.

"Uh, no. We wanted to tell you something," Mint Choco said.

Herb's head tilted in confusion. The three sat down at the counter. Mint Choco then explained to Herb what had happened.

"Well, that's totally not weird at all," Herb said.

"It is," Mint Choco said.

"Well," Herb started, "maybe you caught the gaze of the Vampire King~"

"Herb!" Sparkling's eyes widened, "don't joke about something like that!"

"What? Just saying, what if he was handsome?" Herb questioned.

"What is wrong with you?" Sparkling sighed.

"We don't even know if there really is a 'Vampire King,'" Mint Choco said, air-quoting Vampire King.

"Welp, if he does exist, maybe try hanging garlic above your windows, don't want you to die," Herb giggled.

"I don't want my house smelling like garlic," Mint Choco rolled his eyes.

"That's the point," Sparkling said.

"Can we get back to the point where I may have a possible stalker?" Mint Choco said.

"My advice would be, to get cameras, find out what attracted them, and apprehend them," Herb said.

"Easier said than done," Mint Choco said.

"Just saying," Herb shrugged, "anyways wanna buy and raise a plant friend?"

Mint Choco facepalmed.

Later that day, Mint Choco bought cameras and placed them around his house.

Now he waits.
