Naruto Senju: Ascendance of the King

Prologue

Minato Senju stood bruised and battered in-front of the Nine Tailed Fox. His Hokage cloak swirled in the wind and the flame pattern licking the bottom looked faint yet alive.

This was Minato Senju, Konoha no Kiroi Senkō.

He had done a lot today, he had firstly helped his wife deliver his son Naruto, whilst fixing the seal on her stomach so the 9 tails wouldn't be released. He also had to battle Uchiha Madara, and know he just released the Control Seal on the 9 tails.

"Hello Kurama," said Minato, slightly panting.

"Minato Namikaze," said the 9 tails, "I am sorry for the destruction that I have caused your village. I understand you need to seal me away but you know Uchiha Madara caused this so please kill him for me."

"I'm afraid if I seal someone such as you with your massive chakra at this current moment, I won't survive, but I'm sure my son will not hesitate to wipe his face of the earth as soon as he grows strong enough."

Kurama nodded. "I see. Well as gratitude, I will allow your son, Naruto is it? To use my chakra whenever he needs. In fact if he proves to be a good kid, I'll give him the entirety of my chakra since no matter how much of a bastard Madara is, he's a strong motherfucker."

Minato nodded in gratitude and prepared to seal the 9 tails away. He looked at the almost lifeless form of his beloved wife and nodded. At least they would meet in heaven.

Minato did 5 hand seals specially designed for fuinjutsu.

He pointed his palm at the 9 tails and shouted.
"KAAIN!"

Suddenly, the massive 9 tails began to shrink at an alarmingly rapid pace, after about 5 seconds, the fox became the size of a basketball. It was surrounded by a blood red chakra, which Minato was in full control of.

Minato used one hand to maintain the seal on Kurama and the other to make the seal formula on Naruto's stomach. The only seal powerful enough to hold the 9 tails chakra and able to let Naruto use its chakra was the 5 pronged seal.

Minato then drew the kanji on his hand and controlled Kurama pointing him above Naruto's stomach.

"FUUIN!"

As soon as Minato activated the jutsu, he could feel his life form slipping.

"Kushina," he called weakly, "I'm going to seal both of our chakra into Naruto so when he eventually needs to use the 9 tails chakra, we can teach him."

His wife helplessly nodded, knowing these were her last moments on earth. Minato drew his chakra out of his body, it was about the size of a
RASENGAN, but instead of a blue ball it was yellow. Minato did the same thing for Kushina and it looked the same except her chakra was light red.

"FUUIN!" shouted Minato as he placed the two chakra's over Naruto's gut, causing them to be locked behind the 9 tails cage, in a far away place.

Luckily, the souls of Kushina and Minato were allowed to go to Heaven.

Hiruzen Sarutobi ,the retired Sanadaime Hokage, and Jiraiya ,the Toad Sage, rushed into the place where Minato Namikaze had fought the Nine Tails, eager to assist their successor.

Minato was Hiruzen's successor as he became the Hokage after him and Minato was Jiraiya's successor because he passed on the ways of Sage hood to his student, so Minato was a Toad Sage as well.

Unfortunately, they were too late. Minato and Kushina were both dead, and the only thing left in the battlefield other than the corpses and the trail of destruction left by the Nine Tails was baby Naruto.

"Looks so much like Minato," said Jiraiya solemnly.

"Your right about that, my student."

"Look," said Jiraiya, picking up Naruto who was already in cloth, "It is my responsibility to raise Naruto as Minato and Kushina already told me I was to be the godfather and I won't stand for Naruto being raised in the village or kept in some crappy orphanage because they'll never treat him properly and the villagers will hate him no matter what."

Hiruzen sighed, "I can't let you do that."

Jiraiya sighed, "It's not your decision. I know you probably want me to be Godiame but I can't because I have to run the spy organisation so there is no chance of me settling down."

"We'll if your running the spy organisation, how are you meant to raise Naruto?"

"Well when I actually have something to investigate I'll leave him on Mount Myoboku. Minato also definitely wanted Naruto to be a Toad Summoner so I could train Naruto and he could eventually learn Toad Summoning."

"Fine," said Hiruzen after thinking about it for what seemed like forever, "But I want him back in the village by the time he is 10. Also I want you to give me updated about his training and growth every year. I know that you'll probably train him so that he's powerful enough to be a Chunin but I want him to at least experience 1 year of the Academy."

Jiraiya nodded, "Got you, anyways I'm going to head to Mount Myoboku. I'd like to tell the toads what happened and mourn with them."

Hiruzen nodded sadly. It seemed like everyone who he treasured was leaving.

"Good luck Naruto," said Hiruzen, "Grow up to be a fine shinobi because even if you only had a fraction of your mother and father's genes, you'll be the finest shinobi alive."
